Come for the view, the music, the vibe or the drinks. (just not at the 5 person bar). A modern take on local with enough beers to please Germany. Awesome menu and lively entertainment. Well attended.

Celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day at Indian RoadCafe. The site where the Dutch "traded $24 worth of trinkets for Manhattan" is a few steps away in beautiful Inwood Hill Park.
Wonderful escape from the typical manhattan buzz. Not so easy to get to unless you live in inwood, which I do. Worth the trip; couple it with a visit to the cloisters and adjacent parks.
Brunch here is very nice. The food is extremely fresh. And when you're done you can go over by the water and watch the boats go by while people jump off the cliffs.
IRC Spicy Bloody Mary's come with a beer chaser. Today's chaser is Genessee Cream Ale. Come in after noon to enjoy one or any of our 8 Winter Warmer Cocktails.
Try the Mexican Torta. So good chunks of chorizo with a side of watermelon. Fresh squeezed oj was very good but small. Indian Spice And Black Irish tea were good, asked for it steeped in steamed milk
Best restaurant in upper manhattan! Their duck is always delicious. Recently expanded form beer and wine to full bar. Also love their lemon droppastries!
Cozy atmosphere and live band playing (when I went). Pleasant waitstaff. Hot chocolate and jumbo oatmeal raisin cookie was delicious. I'd definitely return.
An unpretentious, fabulous place in Inwood. Great food, very friendly staff, lovely vibe, a true neighborhood cafe. They also do a good job with Counter Culture beans.
One of the best places to get coffee in NYC – get the French Press, and enjoy a delicious brunch of French Toast, Huevos Rancheros or the Quiche of the Day.
I am addicted to their quiche, but it's not served every weekend so check if it's available before you sit. The coffee is also wonderful, as is the beer selection.
Brunch is generally good; dinner OK but a little pricy; Awesome beer selection. The service is decent, although it can be spotty when they're really busy. They have an open mic every Monday.
Have the waffle. With fruit. Or the French toast, which is even better. Great place to just be, think, write, read, though I've done neither of the latter three there yet.
Indian Road Cafe is your Inwood neighborhood gathering place for craft beer, wine, espresso, & fresh seasonal fare in a cozy spot on the edge of Manhattan.
