We have the pleasure in Minneapolis of having a multitude of gay bars to choose from, but if you're looking for one that is the most versatile and is welcome to diverse crowds, this is the bar!Upvoted Jan 5- Like the Saloon, take the fun outside of the bar on occasion by joining the Lake Calhoun Boys for events all around town. Bowling year round, volleyball, frisbee, blading, benefits, networking, etc!
Go on Mondays nights for Hard Mondays. Great music and all three Monday night bartenders serve amazing drinks.

Coat check is seasonal, and ended this weekend. Bummer... it's nice to unload my purse so I can dance. Glad for it anyway in the winter!
Great bar Danny in the back bar is the best in the Twin Cities hands down
go here on Weds night cause its cheap night! no cover and $2 dollar rum and cokes and domestic beers, $3 dollar long islands. also they have male dancers in a shower!
Ask a bartender to make you his favorite drink! If he says "Whiskey-Water" FIND A NEW BARTENDER.
Go to Danny in the Back bar for your drinks. Great Smile and amazing cocktails.
Progressive Wednesdays baby. $1 you call its 10-11, $2 11-midnight, you get the idea. They have blackout sauce in their drinks.
The dance music is always 6 months behind & their dancers are way too thin. However, the drinks are fantastic & the bartenders are adorkable.

- Get an Iron Butterfly from Reggie at the front bar. Be prepared!
Go see Danny in the sports bar for all your drinks, he's a total sweetheart!

enjoy bango/ bingo on a wendesday from 530-830 but it may be a little raunchy for those prudes out there
Despite being a shitty venue, it does have a comfortable atmosphere that most of the other gay bars and clubs in the area are lacking (save the 19 Bar).
