Service is, of course, impeccable. Views are amazing. For some childlike fun get a s'mores kit. The marshmallows are divine. Still have a sweet tooth? Order the brown butterice cream. Life changing!
Wonderful views, right on the ocean, beautiful sunsets and evening fires. Nice rooms and attentive service. A slice of heaven on earth. Enjoyed the local wine collections and beds were comfortable.
They sell cigars at the bar. It is cheaper to visit BayBooks in town though and buy some there. Pick up s'mores stuff at Safeway and you will make lots of friends at the fire pits!
Pumpkins are not only a tasty treat;they also nourish the skin. The Spa offers a PumpkinFacial; utilizing mask which is high in beta carotene, vitamins A&C,leaving the skin smooth, plump and hydrated.
Don't miss the painted pony as you arrive to Half Moon Bay. Every season it gets a new design and welcome guests to the city. You can even submit your own design for the horse.
On the weekend, book a Guided Segway Tour that travels along the Coastal Trail which runs parallel to the Pacific Ocean and offers sweeping views of the surf and Northern California coast.
Amazing views of the beach. There are a few parking spots about a 15 minute walk away (along the golf course). Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in Half Moon Bay for a day trip
Treat your taste buds to a seasonal home-grown cocktail in The Conservatory featuring fresh herbs such as thyme, basil and rosemary from the Growing Wall.
Amazing place. The location and service was fantastic. If you can afford it it's a must go to spot. Get a room with a private fire pit! Consider staying for more than just 1 day.
If you're staying here: (1) all guests can use the spa's soaking pools and saunas. Enter through locker rooms (2) refill your welcome wine at the front desk until 10p.
Our Spa is the only place to experience a Tatcha Crystal Luminous Facial; it is an ultra-hydrating and firming facial that uses centuries-old Japanese beauty techniques.
When staying at a hotel, call down to the operator or front desk as early as possible on the morning of your check-out day for a late check out. You might get to extend by 30 min to 2 hours.
One of my favorite places in the world. Very professional, courteous staff; great facility, and some of the most beautiful ocean views in Northern California.
Life is good for man's best friend at the Ritz Carlton. The hotel's Doggie Room Service menu includes Bow Wow Meatballs and Rice, Canine Casseroles, and home-baked bone shaped biscuits.
Scrooge-y on validating valet parking. While Navio lunch, brunch (one of most expensive in whole Bay area) or dinner covers the whole thing, having breakfast will only cover half, ie, still pay 10 USD
Escape the city & sip wine by the fire pit w/ ocean views. Tell the gate attendant you're there for the coastal access & save yourself the $20 valet fee.

The Ritz usually charges $10 for parking on weekends. Occasionally they charge $20. Get your ticket validated if you eat a meal inside. If you have an expensive car they often will park it free.
The men's (and presumably the ladies') locker rooms are a great place to get a soak and unwind in the sauna. Hot tub, jump in the cold soak, then 15 minutes in the steam room. Heavenly.
Discover Navio, a restaurant situated on the North California coast at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay. Savor a taste of the sea and bathe in the aromas from the restaurant’s smoky, wood-fire oven. Here, you’ll find only the region’s freshest ocean cuisine.
