love the refinery, the friendly staff & lovely manager megan! great outside area and coffee for morning meetings in the sunshine! the steak and lobster deal is great too!
Read so many bad reviews about the service but great food. Just go there and ask about Adam. We(2 couples) just had there and have a wonderful night with very nice food. I would recommend for everybod
A bit surprised by the comments, maybe I was lucky or they improved well. My food was good, and the service friendly. Nice decor inside. Really warm in it. Best for weekday over lunch.
The place is nice but can't recommend the brunch/food. Avo on sourdough toast was good. Blueberry pancakes and fries felt like they were heated up from frozen.
Came here for Sunday brunch. Very cool ambience. Menu was good and varied, food tasty but very small portions and very pricy for what you got. Decent coffee.
I went over 8 months ago. The food was a disaster. My pasta with ragù sauce was overcooked and gluey. The steak +"lobster" (more like a burnt prawn) was disgusting - we sent it back and got a refund
Avoid on a Friday evening/night. The DJ thinks he's in a nightclub in Ibiza, and consequently it's ear-splittingly loud, making conversation utterly impossible and killing any decent atmosphere.
Average food and terrible service. Took forever to place an order. Half of which arrived. Food was like warm and chewy. Try The Table over the road instead.
the refinery, located in the landmark blue fin building on southwark street, near to tate modern and in the heart of london's bankside, exudes an industrial sophistication and is a great spot any time of the day or night.
