The Press Lounge has some of the exceptional views Manhattan has to offer. Not loud, not rowdy and not over crowded. One of the best lounges in NYC to spend a summer night with a lovely drink in hand
Here, you'll find no DJs, and no sloppy folk: Instead, there are twinkling lights, fire pits, artisanal cocktails, and unobstructed panoramas to help you revel in big city beauty. Read more
One of my favorite rooftop bars in NYC. The drinks are pricey, but the view of the city and NJ is really unbelievable. I like coming here in the middle of the week or on Sundays – it's less crowded.
Beautiful views and free entry. Weekend line starts forming around 10pm. Head here around 9pm and get yourself chairs facing the city next to the pool. Waitresses come around to take drink orders.
Sexy!!! Place a where the music is low the drink prices are high. but so many rooftops in the city but usually blocked by a bigger building this had a gorgeous view. Gorgeous people, strong drinks
. The rooftop area is so huge and even if it is crowded you are able to find a place to relax with your friends. The view from the lounge is amazing!!!
Had our company holiday party here. Amazing views and high quality drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Can't comment on the music though because one of my coworkers DJ'ed for the night instead of their usual.
Great rooftop around the midtown area. I actually thought the view at night from there was better than from the Top of the Rock, as you have a great skyline posing for you!
Relaxing rooftop lounge with great views of Midtown; Very polite staff and diverse crowd; line can get quite long around midnight on summer nights, so plan accordingly
Come for the view. The (pre-poured) cocktails are just a bonus. If you must, order only Classic Beauty (rum with passion fruit) or anything out of a bottle.
Your Instagram followers called. Your photos haven’t been up to par recently. Put a few panos from the Press Lounge in your feed and you’ll be good for the rest of the year. Trust us. Read more
ALWAYS call before showing up to make sure it's not closed for a private party. Then arrive (following the dress code) when they open to score the best seats and views. Seriously, 5pm is too late.
Great view, good drinks. Prices are a little high and it bugs me that the bartenders expect a 20 percent tip on cocktails served at the bar. But...it's a rooftop so, I guess ill pay for the skyline.
Discrimination. The door guy looked at my belly (I'm pregnant) and said he couldn't let us in because I was wearing flip flops. Watched him let him about 7 girls behind us all wearing flip flops.
Get ready to spend $17 on a mediocre-tasting cocktail or $11 on a beer. The view is great though, and the place is much less crowded than other rooftop lounges. Go for a drink and the view.
It's a nice rooftop but I wouldn't want to stay here long nor did a lot of people who wanted to have a good time. The drinks are expensive though. And don't go on Saturday too crowded.
Order La Prensa....it's the perfect margarita for the fall- spiced pear and cinnamon. Plastic glasses make ordering wine not so fun. Great views but very quiet after work.
Hotel rooftop that is BEAUTIFUL! It is about 12 floors up. It has a view of the west side/Hudson River. Drinks are pricey ($15-20). Not a huge place but just enough space and classy.
There is no parapet! or well waist high wall built out of brick, it's a low glass wall, so the views make you feel like are floating into the nyc skyline!
