We came for lunch (3 course menu for 35€).Our best dining experience in Dublin! The salmon had a great natural quality, the guini fouwl was surprising and excellent. Nice dessert, service good. Toptip
Lovely view and very friendly staff. Had the pig's head terrine, the pork belly, the sheperd's pie and the vanilla cheese cake. The pork belly really does melt in your mouth. Amazing!
World class food. The tasting menu is expensive but worth it to try a range of their very creative local food. I agree that 2 euros does not reflect the cost... Maybe that's lunch. Who cares!
Seasonal Irish ingredients are cooked inventively, but approachably. The whiskey and citrus-cured salmon is a particular delight, as is the puntastic “tongue ‘n’ cheek” Guinness pie. Read more
Gorgeous pork belly with black pudding and butternut squash. That black pudding was the best I'd ever had - not grainy or metallic tasting at all. Simple classy atmosphere.
A quintessential Irish restaurant. Amazing venue with warm service and food that really explores Ireland in the sense of a culinary journey. Lunch and dinner both equally delightful.
Lamb Shepherd's pie is definitely the way forward if you're looking for a good hearty meal. The wine list is excellent, try the Givry Pinot Noir if you're into reds. An excellent wine.
Fancy Irish pub food done right at reasonable prices! Nice selection of local craft beers and wines. Good for groups and for couples but remember to book to avoid disappointment.
Amazing place to eat. Menu is consistently amazing and varied. Impressive staff. Get a table by the window for beautiful views into the grounds of Trinity College
Small, lovely and climate resturant. Little bit expensive but there is a nice set deal. The portions are small but tasty. Worth trying but nothing blow minding (except wine).
Great lunch deal! The menu offers a selection of the best of the more expensive dinner menu, providing the same portion size at a fraction of the cost.
Be aware there is a minimum order for lunch. Two people wanted only a main and the third a starter and we were either required to order a second starter for the third person or go elsewhere. Sad.
Very disappointing experience. We waited for more than an hour for the main course and when we got it (we ordered salmon), it was very over cooked and way too salty. Cannot recommend!
At the Pig’s Ear simplicity, hospitality and generosity are key elements for a warm friendly restaurant. We offer an informal approach & value for money.
