Just had a fantastic dinner at The Pig. The food was off the charts amazing and our waitress was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back next time we are in the area!!
This menu features more than charcuterie -- it extends to barbecue, roasts, ramen, and pastas. You can wash it down with one of the wines on tap, or one of the numerous craft beers or ciders. Read more
When you bite into the Deliverance Burger, it slaps you in the face with amazing flavors coming from 2 habanero & pork patties, double cheese, onion molasses pork belly, and moonshine mayo.
Pork wings and face bacon are great apps. Try not to pair face bacon with the porchetta as your main (esp on your own) - both are delicious on its own, but the fat content def gets to you
As mentioned by others, the mac and cheese is really good... lots of cheese sauce and nice truffle finish with a crusty top. The Pig Burger is excellent, ask for face bacon instead of regular bacon.
The pulled pork is their signature dish but the burger is excellent as well. If you love anything from the pig this place is nirvana for you solid drink menu and sweet staff make it a must visit.
A no brainer for any foodie. Everything is AMAZING but some highlights were the Swim&Wallow, the bacon apples and the burger. A rez can be tough on weekends but they serve the full menu at the bar.
One of my favorite restaurants in DC despite it being a bit pricey. The charcuterie boards are amazing. Mac and cheese is great. Pulled pork is delicious. Mmm. All of it. Try it all.
I'm not a meat eater but everyone I was with loved everyone from pork cheek to crispy pulled pork. The Mac & cheese is craze amaze and they went bananas over the toffee pudding! Check it out!
The bacon-wrapped apples were really nice, but you only need to know two words for sure in this place: Face Bacon. It will change your life. It's fatty, but it's perfectly rendered. Order it twice.
Everything @ The Pig is magnificent. Brunch, lunch, dinner & drinks. We've always had wonderful service & a smile at every turn. A changing menu makes things fun & if you're a group - try the Big Pig!
Our favorite dessert was the carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and chocolate “soil,” which were salted Oreo crumbs, complete with real mini carrots. Read more
Order in advance for a something different! We ordered a roasted pig head. Might be pretty weird if you are not too adventurous but definitely an interesting experience! The porchetta was also great!
The food is great every time but the brunch dish- cheek with grits and greens: wow! Add an egg on top, it is to die for! Pair it with a bacon bloody mary and friends and life is complete!
Easily, one of the best restaurants in DC. Very unique and delicious menu! Order anything, you will not be disappointed. Highlights: Pig Cheeks, Mac N Cheese and Ragu!
Beef cheeks are fantastic, Mac and cheese is best I've had EVER. Pulled pork was spectacular. Plus great service. This place blew me away. Hope it stays as strong as it is now in its opening.
Went for a Sunday brunch. I had the Benedict, which was delicious. Two in our group ordered the pork omlette, which was reportedly underwhelming. But everyone else reported a very tasty meal!
If they have goat stew as a special, you must order it. Otherwise, pulled pork is excellent, and the truffled Mac & cheese is fantastic. Charcuterie is quite good, as are cheeks. Cauliflower sucks
Service is warm, welcoming and they will right any wrongs. Menu changes...I'm always on the look out for any curries and the more non-traditional dishes... try everything!
Really like their crispy pig ears and braised cheeks. Applewood smoked bacon, mac&cheese, and chorizo & smoke shrimp hash were OK. Definitely will come back to try their dinner menu.
While brunch is great, I'll go for dinner instead and indulge on all things pig. Their drinks are phenomenal - Miss Piggy is still one of the best cocktails I've ever had.
Skip the pig tails. They are just ok. But cannot go wrong with the wild boar and berries and the bacon wrapped peaches. I would go back just for those two dishes. Amazing.
They recently changed management / style and the soul of the original Pig is no longer. It has become from one of our favorite restaurants to just another soulless "trendy" restaurant on 14th street.
Ask for a booth. Order the pre-platter with xtra bread. The pulled pork over grits is something you won't soon forget. The Pig receives *** plus the #mayormorris Seal of App
Had the roast cauliflower, charred pork belly, lamb manti dumplings, and mushrooms buerre blanc- latter two were mind blowing, but all the dishes were multifaceted in flavor.
Recently took the pulled pork off small plates. WTF?!?! Sorry guys, you do it well, but I grew up in the heart of NC BBQ country and pulled pork and collards for $19 is just insulting, even in Logan
Start a meal at this pork-centric restaurant with the trotter ravioli. Carry on with braised cheeks, boar ragout and berry shortcake--made, of course, with lard: Read more
The Bitches Say: B+. The Pig’s “snout to tail” mantra does not disappoint the pork-lovers; and the options for vegetarians impressed as well. A “must-try” for adventurous eaters in the District. Read more
