Ignore the few bad reviews. This is as good a Cajun place as you'll find outside of Louisiana. The food and drink are near perfect, and the atmosphere is warm and fun. +magician Mark Collier on Fri.
Seriously solid Cajun food. The Gumbo isn't diluted & has a nice thick roux. The Red Beans+Rice got flavor. You get a LOT of Crawfish in the Etoufee (& it's good). This is a NICE surprise.. Holy CRAP
Kim Cameron, Valencia, CA - This place is EXCELLENT! Calamari appetizer & Blackened Filet Mignon, which comes w/ these buttery-garlic mashed potatoes, sooooo good! Can't wait to go back again!!
Try the Stuffed Filet Mignon - Get it blackened. Best dish on the menu ... My go to. You can get a topping of artichoke hearts but I keep it dry. So good.
service is excellent and food served fast. This place is packed but we were on the top 2 waiting list and was told to come back at 630 (they opened at 530) and we got seated exact 630.
The food was very good until we found a hair in it. When we went to pay the bill, we did not give the tip 15% for these reasons and she came to charge us the full amount.
Not bad, not great. Nothing was really bad, but nothing really jumped out at me (including chocolate soufflé). I wouldn't be so critical if there weren't so many other better options so close.
