Absolutely stunning. Everyone should go to an opera at least once. Everything is on point. Dress up and enjoy the show. Grab drinks at the bar for great views.
view from the 1st balcony box seat isn't terrible but you do miss some of the action in the back and left of the stage. (eg we could not see odette dramatically leap into the lake)
If you haven't already, purchase tickets to see a show IMMEDIATELY. You will not regret it. Some of the most stunning performances are held here. Highly recommend Carmen as a must see!

Misty Copeland in Don Quixote was absolutely beautiful. During intermissions, the food and wine were surprisingly delicious. Everyone from the ushers,bartenders & maitre'd were kind & helpful.
Beautiful and elegant, great acoustics. All seats are quite close to the stage, but you might want to avoid the side sections and boxes if you like seeing the full stage.
One of the supreme temples of culture. Beautiful mid-century design and check out the Chagall’s at intermission. Shortest barlines are in parterre - yes you are allowed back there.

There's no better time to see a show at the Met than during winter, it's a must! Make sure you get your tickets early because every performance sells out quickly!

Take the time to do the tour which is the best $20 bucks spent in NYC. It will give you a greater appreciation for the opera that is rich with history.

FANTASTIC PLACE TO HEAR BEAUTIFUL SOUNDS! The drinks and food are very over priced. Don't get the smoked salmon sandwich. The desserts are a safer more delicious option.
