Best location ever! Just two blocks from subway stop and a 24 hour Duane Reade if you forget something. W Cafe in lobby is super convenient for quick coffee and toasted bagel before starting your day.

It's not the smartest W in NYC but the location is great. 5mins from Grand Central, 5mins from MoMA etc. Amazing bar, HUGE gym...I love the W NYC
Jinsung ChoiDecember 28, 2012This hotel looks very nice in the first look, but when you look inside the room, there are lots of unclean spots such as hair dryer, air conditioner, torn-sheets and dust on the floor and ceiling.

Convenient location in midtown. The room was perfect considering it being in NYC. Room was clean and fresh every time we came back to the hotel. No complaints.

Mon BellanaFebruary 18, 2014As an SPG Platinum, I've been able to try out every Statwood Hotel in NYC... This W left room for wanting. Small rooms, obstructed views (I was told I was upgraded). You will be left underwhelmed.

Hector M. V.October 21, 2013The rooms are kinda small but when you think about it, you don't visit New York City to spend time in a hotel. That issue aside, the hotel is very well located in midtown Manhattan.
Very comfortable beds, huge hd tvs, nice rooms and lovely showers. At night there's always people and a nice atmosphere in the hall. Nice hotel perfect position!

Drew MAugust 13, 2019A good location with comfortable beds. My view was obstructed and the room size normal for midtown. Do not pay extra for the included breakfast, you get a very limited & underwhelming menu downstairs.
Chongho LeeNovember 16, 2018The noise level outside the building is simply unbearable. During my stay for 4 nights there was a construction going on all night that made a LOT of noise that kept waking me up.

Week of September 30, they're updating the wifi - hopefully past users will see an improvement. Still one of my favorite hotels, despite the small rooms.
The w new York is so cool.they have a bar with a really cool stile.

Room 1554 is pretty nice. I don't see why people complain about this hotel, it's just a room to sleep in. It's clean, and the staff is nice.

My favorite hotel in #nyc. Concierge service is great.
