Just to clarify--The upgrade offer IS available for any reservation, if you checkin on Foursquare, have a reservation already booked and a suite is vacant and available.

If you can, go to Tre. Great Italian restaurant in the Fairmont at 401 S Alamo. It's close by and they have family portions!!! Great place!

Apparently they don't offer the specials as advertised. "Do you have suites available?" "Yes" can we have the upgrade you promised?" "Oh, we don't have any suites." Shady, people.

The Alamo is a classic, but drinking a Hurricane at Pat O'Briens will get your night started with a bang!

Nice hotel. Clean room. Plus the bathroom in the room is really nice. Great location.

The complimentary suite upgrade is only valid if you book directly with the Crockett. No joy if you book through someone else, like Expedia. This is not stated anywhere, and disappoints me. Boo.
