A favorite cocktail bar, with great music and service. Great for a drink after work, or a “not-too-loud” Friday night. The bartenders are always on point with their drinks and suggestions.
Cocktails how you want them at West Village newcomer The Happiest Hour, opening next week. Try the Little Red Dress, made with strawberry, cocoa and soda. It goes well with rum, red wine, or vodka. Read more
Link Ray; This cocktailreferences Dr. Brown's Cel-Ray, and coaxes celery's sharper notes out with a French bitters called Suze. + Customizable with gin, rhum agricole, or jalapeno-infused tequila. Read more
This is a place where you can pair a mouthwatering burger with a crafted cocktail and enjoy both! If you want to party past HH, head right downstairs to Slowly Shirley to boogie.
It's a hip vibe here and the seats on the sidewalk or just inside could be good for people watching but you have to move them around a bit. The back area is better for a small group.
Great spot for group IF you have a reservation in back area - otherwise it can be a crowded place to stand on weekends; hear there is great spot downstairs
The Happiest Burger is a take on the Big Mac. All the toppings are the same, except they also add tomato. The quality of the beef, special sauce, bun, and onions are superior in every facet. Read more
This place is trash. Ordered a simple martini and it was really really bad - it even had a leaf of some sort in it that was not a part of the drink. Don’t even get me started on the wine...
Great new bar from the Acme team that harks back to 50's LA. Must try the In-N-Out inspired burger and cocktails. Don't miss Slowly Shirleys, the swankier (and pricier) speakeasy downstairs.
This place is sh**. Rude staff. Overpriced drinks. Bad quality food. Tacky decor. Don't waste your time. There are many many better places around the west village. Skip this one.
I am very sad to say that this bar shall be called the unhappiest hour. Very rude service and disrespectful of the latin American community. I will never return again. Horrible experience.
happiest hour always turns into happiest hours here. great playlist and vibe. my go-to is the sazerac. get the burger -reminiscent of in-n-out, fries, and the broccoli. you won't regret.
sat in a tiny table with tiny chairs and was served a tiny beer for not a tiny price. Hostess told us that we may have to move eventually but it was so loud, we could hardly even hear her or ourselves
Didn't care too much for the red dress & loose lemoncocktail. Not much of an ambience too. Plain blah 😐 The waitress v sweet & but bartenders need to be changed 🙊
The Happiest Hour is a whimsical new cocktail bar and full-service restaurant by Acme’s Jon Neidich and veteran New York bartender Jim Kearns, formerly of the NoMad Hotel and Pegu Club.
