- Erika BallFebruary 13, 2017Absolutely love this spot in NYC and I was excited to give it a try here in Chicago. It is seemingly the exact same delish you can get on the street in NYC. The hot sauce is no joke!
- ᴡ RomeroOctober 11, 2015My only complaint is that they make u pay for extra packets of sauce! In NYC they at least pack your food with 4 packet of white & two packets of hot. That's with just a small platter for $7.00 no tax.
- ᴡ RomeroOctober 11, 2015Waited all summer for the Grand Opening! I was excited to get some Chicken over rice, in NYC its my favorite cheap lunch spot. Be careful with the hot sauce it's Extra spicy a strip of it will do.
- Shana DagnyAugust 19, 2015Now you don't have to visit NYC to try the Halal Guys. They are a cheap eat for you backpackers, its cultural however simple for you culture diggers, and they are tasty for everyone alive who eats!
- Get the chicken platter, and add olives if you like. The white sauce is where it's at, and the red is exceptionally hot.
- ᴡ RomeroOctober 19, 2015Chicken over rice platter with salad and pita bread. Extra white sauce and a splash of hot sauce. Just a splash because it's extra HOT!
- Max MossApril 22, 2016Don't go here. I've watched people line up for an hour to get into this place and it's not worth the hype. The food is mostly tasteless, but fiery hot. I like hot food, but this was excessive.
- mig rodMarch 9, 2017Any local place can do a gyro much better than this place. Meats is dry and cut up into tiny chunks removing all texture. Sandwich is old onion heavy. Will definitely not visit again
- Kaleigh SJuly 23, 2016Really disappointed. Without the sauce, it has no taste. But the hot sauce is so ungodly hot that you can't put much on before it becomes inedible. There are so many other places better than this.
- Jason NovakNovember 23, 2015Good but not worth the hype. Plenty other falafel places that are better than this place.
- SandraOctober 2, 2015Salí con comida horrible y el corazón roto. NADA que ver con los Halal Guys originales de Nueva York. Además el sistema es lennnto. Qué decepción. :(
