If you visit the Summit area, be sure to stay at the Grand Summit. Best hotel in the region. Very friendly staff. Great restaurant.

Summit train station is a short walk away. Direct train to NY Penn station (change in Secaucus for train to EWR). For more info see http://www.njtransit.com/ (NJ Transit Morris & Essex line).

Not sure why people don't like this hotel. Very nice and my room has a sunroom also

Nothing Grand about this hotel. More like grandma's. Smells like mildew, in bad need of an update. The elevator on the left is NASTY! Great Bar!
