if you're "feeling lowbrow," get the fish and chips. while you may be the only one eating with your hands, you'll be loving it, not to mention paying half!
Caramelizedlobster, Briefondue, & musselsvindaloo. Mmmm. Have them bring out fondue with the mussels so you have the most bread to dip in both. Great with a beer.
The Gage Old Fashioned is awesome (if unorthodox.) And the elkpoutine is amazing. As is the escargotrisotto. And the regular burger. And the benedict and grits at brunch...I have a problem.

The poutine is decadent. They also serve an incredible cheese plate, it's listed on the dessert menu and can be ordered as an appetizer or with drinks.
It is restaurant week in Chicago and The Gage has some delectable offerings that are truly scrumptious. Try the Poutine, the Spick Black Bean Soup and their Chicken. Don't forget the gourmet donout ho
The rare Venison burger was fantastic, so was the regular burger, the fish and chips, and the poutine as well. By far the best restaurant we went to while in Chicago! It's a must when visiting.
V. disappointing venison burger. Ate 1/4 before not being able to continue. Over cooked (Not medium-rare) and simply poor quality meat. Taste like Walmart value mince. a lovely atmosphere and bar!
Had a great chicken salad (with curry!) and the butternut squash soup was divine. Also would highly recommend the Irish Apple Cider, it'll warm you right up!
