Mold-A-Rama toys are a great gift or souvenir. For only $2 each, you can watch the machines mold a plastic triceratops, brontosaurus, t-Rex or camel for you.

The Horses exhibit is amazing! I really liked the vintage posters involving horses (rodeo posters, American old west-style ads, etc.) near the end. Check it out!

This museum's centerpiece is a flying machine whose size and reputation dwarfs all others. It is the Hughes H-4 Hercules, the largest aircraft to be built almost entirely from wood. Read more

Start by checking the "Evolving Earth" exhibition at the top floor. It's the best one at the museum!

I wouldn't recommend visiting all the stuffed animal exhibits. It spans half of the main floor and can get old very quickly

You can check out free passes to this musuem at the chicago public library. They onlyhave one or two per library, so they can be hard to get, but worth it!

Don't pay extra for the special exhibits--there's plenty to see for regular admission price. The world fair exhibit was especially disappointing.
