- Kevin YehJuly 12, 2017Juicy $6 burgers, thick $6 milkshakes. Real quick service with rock n' roll vibes. This is a bright and cheery joint in a dreary area; do yourself a favor and skip the Chipotle a few blocks down.
- Lesley SmaleOctober 23, 2016Great burgers, great gluten free menu. Doesn't feel like other gluten free menus and doesn't eat like typical gluten free bread. This place is legit
- Brynn TaylorAugust 16, 2013Tough choice between a Boston Brown Ale or a Gluten-free Coffee & Chocolate flavored shake! The burger with soy-sauce jalapeños, sriracha, and pepper jack cheese will make your taste buds dance!
- Matthew CaldecuttAugust 2, 2018What a fantastic spot for lunch. I had less than 30 minutes so I got the single burger with the usual toppings. It reminded me of how good Shake Shack was before it went corporate
- Ailie ChangFebruary 22, 2016You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We always get wings and cheeseburger with fries. I do wish that they were closer so they could deliver faster.
- Nate SSeptember 14, 2014Slightly out of the way but these burgers are so so good (on par with Shake Shack and Five Guys). Pairs nicely with a trip to Dutch Kills.
- Jason AndersonOctober 17, 2015First time here. Fries were excellent and the Burger was superb! Meat was tender and juicy. I'll definitely be back here again!
- Chantae VetriceAugust 18, 2013The veggie burger was probably one of the best I've had anywhere, surprisingly. The staff is very nice & fast! I will definitely be back!
- Journo GirlJanuary 3, 2013Pretty good place, like an authentic burger joint :-) with old rock & roll playing, huge helping of fries, great thick, shakes & even a 10% student discount!

http://www.burgerweekly.com/burger-garage Whenever I get a burger under ten dollars in NYC and feel as though it was worth my while, I’m happy. Burger Garage accomplished that goal. - Time Out New YorkJuly 29, 2011Hamburger America filmaker George Motz has called this counter joint one of his favorite NYC newcomers. The star-butcher blend here—a 4oz mix of chuck, brisket & short rib—is a legitimate draw. Read more
- Solid no-nonsense burgers at a fair price. Sometimes a bit overcooked, but usually the patties are juicy, and lettuce, tomatoes, pickles are fresh.
- Stéphanie NamDecember 17, 2014Fast, good service and a great burger for the price ($6)! There are also veggie options.
- CompassMay 15, 2014The clean-lined burger diner is popular for it’s all-natural angus beef patties, hand-dipped milkshakes, and casual vibe.
- Can't go wrong with anything here! Great spot especially since there are so few good places in Court Square
- RichSeptember 1, 2013Awesome burger. Sweet potato fries are a must. Fried pickles were good and the shakes were stellar!!!!
- Guha ArunkumarMay 7, 2019Classic veggie burger is awesome. Cheese fries too. The shakes are the bomb.
- Execution is a little inconsistent. Sometimes the fries are among the best I've had at any fast casual spot, but sometimes they're crazy salty or somewhat soggy.
- Serious EatsApril 17, 2013Simple, thin diner-style burgers here, among the best in Long Island City.
- First We FeastAugust 3, 2014Burger Garage has the best $5 cheeseburger in the five boroughs. Read more
- JenKuduOctober 13, 2013Great milkshakes and malts. Burgers are always good. Sweet potato fries yes, cheese fries no... Not worth the price.
- Dave LazAugust 9, 2016Counter staff was helpful and humorous and the wedge salad was awesome and very filling!
- Really good thick milkshakes. Black & white is probably the best of the lot.
- Good burgers, fries and milkshakes. Try the BG loaded fries once, they are crazy
- JenKuduApril 3, 2013Really great burgers, all cooked medium unless otherwise specified. Split an order of onion strings too ;)
- Shayla N.March 15, 2013Order ahead of time during the lunch time rush. Go for the veggie burger with sriracha & the works.
- robinOctober 13, 2013One of the best burgers I have had in a long time. Luckily it's not "too" close to my apt
- Nic GMarch 19, 2013ignore what others may say, this plays blows 5 Guys out of the water. I ate here even when I lived in Harlem.
- Fried onion strings are a complete waste, just tiny crumbly bits. Just get the fries.
- One of many favorite place to be after a hard day of class. Awesome food too! #TSBCC
