All the food is great, less busy during the week but at weekends be prepared to wait in line for a free booth. Would eat here every day if I lived close enough.
This adorable retrodiner is off the beaten path for BU students but it's definitely worth the hike--try the Princess or the Basket Case in honor of the classic John Hughesmovie.
The new owners are great, my only complaint is, PLEASE use real whipped cream!!! Right now it is something like a cool whip, an oil based whipped product that does not melt. It doesn't taste good!!!!!
Best of Boston 2016: Diner 🍳 :: Don’t miss the “Alexa” omelet with Greek sausage, spinach, and feta; and the pulled chicken and waffles with srirachagravy.
My new favorite breakfast spot in Boston area. Omelette w/avocado, pepper jack cheese & linguica was topped off with sour cream & home madesalsa. Pancakes with real maple syrup great!
Classic diner, 80’s soundtrack bottomless coffee. This place rocks, booth seating takes 4 comfortably, 6 is a squeeze. Got The Detention: steak and egg perfection.
This Allston staple offers comfort foods with a healthier twist. Using cage freeeggs & local produce, you'd be remiss to skip an omelette at The Breakfast Club. Avoid long weekend waits, order to go.

Pretty good traditional Eggs Benedict and Buttermilk Pancakes. Great place to eat at in the Allston/Brighton area, come over when you get the munchies!
The place to go when you need that 1980's flair. When you go, you absolutely MUST try 'The Princess', a Belgian waffle topped with FRESH fruit, and real whipped cream. When you cover it in maple syrup
