I love the exhibits in the main building! The modern wing is pretentious and confusing, with limited hours and rude staff, but I could spend days in the main wing admiring the work.
The Art Institute has included among it's vast collection the Death Mask of Napoleon (1821), it's not always on display, but an interesting bit of history none the less.
