Cracken's Baseball Stadiums

Cracken .: Stop at Murphy's Bleachers for the pre game Jamey's warmup and enjoy one of the best damn ball parks in the country, damnit!

Cracken .: I've seen a couple of games here and while I haven't had as much fun here as I have at Wrigley, the South Siders are still great to see.

Cracken .: I haven't been to the new Yankee Stadium, just the old one. Funniest stuff I ever heard at a ballgame was in the Right Field cheap seats.

Cracken .: I haven't been to the new Busch Stadium, just the old one. If the new one is as nice as I hear, I'll have to check it out someday.

Cracken .: My first MLB Stadium! Saw several games there as a kid.

Cracken .: One of the nicest and one of my favorites. Enjoy the crab cakes, natty boh's, and seventh inning stretch renditions of "Thank God I'm a Country Boy!"

Cracken .: I once saw a seventh inning stretch performance of "New York, New York" here. I also missed a guy hit a grand slam cuz I was drunk and in the bathroom pissing. This place is not optional.

Cracken .: I like that this park was downtown but was surprised by the dearth of quality bars surrounding it. Hopefully this has changed since then. Enjoy the local BBQ from Montgomery Inn & Skyline Chili Dogs.

Cracken .: This park struck me as an amusement park for white families from the suburbs while inner city blacks worked the concession stands. It was also strange to see a modern park in crumbling Detroit.

Cracken .: Enjoy some Chickie & Pete's crab fries and the antics of the Philly Fanatic.

Cracken .: Another one of the nicer parks I've been to. Find a shuttle from a downtown bar to take you there and don't forget the sausage race.

Cracken .: Another fine downtown ballpark. If you haven't tried some yet, get a Parmanti Brother's sandwich & a Yuengling while enjoying the Pirates.

Cracken .: The Oakland A's are my favorite team. I saw them here for Spring Training. To make the team feel at home, this stadium is intentionally on the scuzziest street in Phoenix. Lots of great A's fans too.

Cracken .: AKA Cesar Chavez Ravine. Kind of surprised they don't have guys serving beer in the aisles, you actually have to get out of your seat and go get one yourself. Probably because the fans are unruly/fun!

Cracken .: Probably one of the blandest stadiums I've been to. Can't think of much that distinguishes it from others. And they have no beer guys as well. Go to Dodger Stadium instead.

Cracken .: Its easy to get to this stadium from the Subway, its nice new park with plenty to do around it, and be sure to enjoy a beer and a chili dog from Ben's Chili Bowl, a DC institution.

Cracken .: Stop in Gaslamp before the game and get some pre-game cold ones. Also be sure to grab some Phil's BBQ and a Friar Frank while at the game.  

Cracken .: Great downtown location surrounded by lots of fun bars. Grab a cheap seat in the Rock Pile and explore the stadium.

Cracken .: Be sure to get some Gilroy's Garlic Fries and bundle up!
