Best BBQ in DC Metro. Regular meat medley is a deal. Add some sides & you'll definitely be taking it home. If you can handle it start with the brisket nachos.
Brisket, sausage, and pulled pork we're top notch. The sides (mac-n-chesse, corn bread, and brussel sprouts) we're very good as well. Service was attentive and fast. A great experience.
A fairly priced but elevatedBBQ experience. Brisket might be the standout but order up plenty of the delicious sides as well. Cocktail program is bourbon-heavy and excellent.
WashPo #1 Best BBQ in DC '19: maintained top spot; meats "tickled my nostrils" w/wood smoke; brisket, dark &crusty on outside; pulled pork relied on a dash of acid to cut its richness
Brisket is some of the best I've had in this area. The BBQ sauce is sweet with a kick- just how it should be! Get the buffalo wing sauce to dip your fries into!
Yooo the brisket here is amaaaaazingggg and the short rib is sooo worth the price. Also the Brussels sprouts omg I dream of them that's how good they are.
We had it delivered and it was really convenient. I had the BBQ chicken on a sandwich, I liked the BBQ but if I got it again I'd ask for it plain because I didn't like it with the onions.
the brisket nachos were almost exactly what i was waiting for! the only thing i'd change is the queso blanco to cheddar. the nachos were still good though. the customer svc was great, too.
The Bitches Say: D+. We were so, so disappointed by brunch at Texas Jack’s. The food was okay but it couldn’t even begin to make up for the complete and utter systematic breakdown of service. Read more
Texas Jack's is named after legendary cowboy John B. Omohundro from Virginia. His extensive travels, adventures, and extraordinary commitment to others can be felt in the planks of our communal tables, in the smiles of our friendly staff, and in the taste of our succulent, smoked barbecue.
