Great setting in Central Park. Good menu and most people liked their food. My vegetarian meal of cauliflower florets on cauliflower purée was delicious, despite concern when ordering. Service is slow.
The Bitches say: B. Be prepared to pay a pretty penny for brunch, but the ambiance and sweet treats are worth it. Worth going to once - be sure to sit outside & bask in the glory of Central Park. Read more

Beautiful ambiance, indoor & outdoor seating, lively vibes. Absolutely in love! Tavern burger was on point! Definitely coming back to try their breakfast since it’s what they’re mostly known for👌🏻✨
Nice hangout place.. food is awesome; service is great. Lunch, brunch, dinner.. doesn’t matter. Try their truffle fries. It’s inside Central Park with live music, ambience can’t better.
A must go to for brunch! The restaurant is gorgeous and the food is better. Perfect place for a trendybrunch with my girls. The baconappetizer was the best bacon I’ve ever had. Couldn’t go wrong.
Came here 4 brunch & requested table in the sun room (formerly the famous room that was renovated). Got the pastry basket which was worth the wait till my eggs Benedict w/ salmon arrived. Delicious.
Brunch was amazing. Wedge salad was very good, Maine lobster roll delicious, grilled steak with eggs and potatoes was splendid, tasty lemonade, salmon tartare was OK. Overall it was a good experience.
Great food and good drinks. Pricey but very good location and love the terrace. The waiter was nice but decided to take all money instead of changing. We asked it back to give a tip ourselves.
Love the outdoor cocktailgarden overlooking Central Park especially with the live jazz on a sunny afternoon. Gorgeous restaurant space and nice indoor bar also.
Risotto, Caesar salad, salmon, Coq a vin, filet all wonderful. Apple crisp and carrot cakedesserts were good, but not fabulous. Probably would skip dessert. Hostesses and wait staff were so nice.
A great landmark in a great location. Let’s hope they find a new chef to make an accessible menu that works for New Yorkers and tourists alike. Read more
Nice brunch, and not that expensive by NYC standards. Tasty Bloody Mary but it seemed a little light on alcohol. Fun place to go given the location and history.
Great option for larger groups—there's a ton of space and the place is very bright. It's pricey, but you'll have trouble finding something bad on the menu.
Jeremiah Tower help revive Tavern on the Green and just launched a new dinner menu with items like monkfish "osso buco," grilled double pork chop and carbonara pastagratin. Zagat
John Lennon and his son Sean would sometimes celebrate their birthdays here. They shared the same birthday, October 9th. Max Leroy (son of the owner Warner LeRoy) was good friends with Sean Lennon.
Great beer garden, perfect place for a summer night. We got there around 8pm and it wasn't very crowded. Recommended for groups. The place is kinda overpriced tho.
