ᴡ KershnerOctober 6, 2017Being one of the older, established vineyards in Northern VA, Tarara delivers some of the best wines (especially reds) in the area. There's very few that come close, IMO.
Dave LepkowskiJanuary 1, 2018This 🍷 winery is extremely very easy to get to from the nearby Potomac River when you are 🚣♀️ boating 🛶 on the river indeed.
The facility is kind of over the top, but the wine is undeniably good, and perhaps the best you’ll find in the area.

Thompson HotelsMay 24, 2011Our concierge Clay at Donovan House says that this winery makes a perfect getaway on a nice day. The Long Bomb is a wonderfully delicious red.

- Steve KingSeptember 13, 2010I have friends who love Tarara. I think most of their wines are just okay. Their Charval is their best, IMO. Nice location, great views, good summer concerts.
Saturday evening concerts at the lake. $15 per person bring a picnic and drink some wine while listening to live music.

Tiffany JohnsonJune 28, 2010They are open daily, but tastings are $10 for six wines priced around $10-$15 for a bottle. Pricey tasting in my opinion.
