- Best Tacqueria in DC by far. Tacos are great, horchata is even better (and not from a powder). But the Chiliquillies and the pork Plato Especial with green sauce are what I dream about.
- Katarina KatsmaJune 29, 2015I didn't think real Mexican food existed in DC but I've been proven wrong! Their food is fantastic, look no further than here for tacos, tortas, you name it.
- I love that they give you chips and the spicy green sauce even when you're taking out. And the carne asada torta sandwich is awesome! Great handmade guacamole too.
- Jordan TNovember 9, 2014The tacos were the BEST I've ever had. I tried the chicken and the goat. They were both amazing! Wash it all down with horchata!! Yum!
- Carne asado taco was meh, but the goat and pork rib were very yummy! Make sure to add a splash of the house red sauce. Horchata is also tasty.
- My boyfriend swears by the chorizo tacos. He also loves the Mexican coke. I got a cheese quesadilla once; it made me gag, but I don't think this muy authentic joint is for vegetarians, so ignore that.
- Ben RAugust 30, 2015Excellent Mexico City style tacos. Chivo, carnitas, chorizo, lengua. Salsa rojo!
- this must be the best place, to get a taste of Mexico City, in your nations capital
- Jose RomeroSeptember 14, 2011Big menu but I always stick to the amazing and budget friendly tacos! Love the al pastor, barbacoa res and goat.
- Chefs FeedAugust 22, 2014Justin Bittner, chef of 8407 Kitchen Bar, eats here on his nights off. He loves the Lengua tostada. Read more
- Beth S.March 1, 2016Not what it used to be. Al pastor and chivo were both fatty and greasy without being very flavorful. They were out of tamales and chips, among other things. Try Taquería Habanero instead.
- SammyMay 27, 2015The horchata is the only thing worth going back for. No beer, margs, sour cream, etc. The tacos were very dry. The high rating is misleading.
- Definitely the most authentic tacos in the area. A can't miss for some great Mexican cuisine!
- Tacos Dorados on your plate and tella novella on the tv. Bueno.
- Paris WatermanSeptember 25, 2014Awesome and authentic! Small, family-run business and they are so appreciative of their customers. Chicken fajitas were great!
- AmyAugust 2, 2015Not great. Service was bad and the meat on every taco was dry (regardless of what kind of taco)
