Fantastic museum full of artifacts and exhibits about the history of Tampa. The museum includes films and exhibits about the Tampa cigar industry and a replica of a 1920s cigar shop.
Dr Will Michaels presentation on 100th Anniversary of the Tony Jannus Flight shed more light on the significant role the Tampa Bay Area played in Aviation history. The airline ran for 3 months.

Wonderful exhibits in the museum to learn about the first natives of Florida! If you come, you´ll love the river view. We had lunch in the ColumbiaRestaurant that´s by the museum´s lobby!
After learning about Tampa's history head out back for a stroll down Riverwalk all the way to the convention center. The best time is later in the day.
