I had La Tampiqueña, which is a beautifully seasoned fillet steak with a tomato salad, guacamole, and a small cheese enchilada. It was delicious. You could taste every element.
It is worth trying one of the out of the box margaritas such as the "Mercado" which blends serrano-infused tequila with passion fruit puree, citrus and a hibiscusrosemary foam.
Pepper infused Tequila is incredible, the chile Morita salsa is one of a kind, ask for the "agavero margarita" (casa nobles resposado, agavero liquor, citrus).enchiladas on the house if you CHECK IN.
Tamayo offers great dining in Denver's Larimer Square with fresh Mexican food flavors. Start with a prickly pear margarita or a michelada, and savor an order of the mole poblano for dinner. Me gusta! Read more
Food & service was good. However, air conditioner was broken during a heat wave. Staff was unapologetic about A/C. People left early because it was so hot. I'm sure it is better with a working A/C.
Food was excellent. I had the filet. Only complaint is that they don't accept Discover cards, which is ridiculous for a restaurant charging over $20 for entrees.
