Tamara H: If you're going with a group of six or more, order two small bowls of white queso—same price as the large but oh so much easier to reach (and trust me, you'll want to have easy access).

Tamara H: Go for a slice of their amazingly thin crusted pizza (they're as big as old-school lunch trays!). You can opt for specialty, but the classic cheese will fill you up nicely.
Tamara H: An intimate but super fun place to see local or up-and-coming bands as they make their way cross-country. Usually a cover, but it stays below $10.
Tamara H: So, so, so many sno cone flavors at this miniature playhouse of a dessert stand. But peaches n' cream or strawberries n' cream will always (always) be your best bet.
Tamara H: One should, without a doubt, sign up for the summer reading program and force any children or younger siblings to do the same, be it against their will or through coercion.
Tamara H: Maybe you're selling out by searching their stacks, but you're finding some sick deals on used books. Before every road trip, plane ride or vacation, hit. it. up.
Tamara H: Skip the food and feast, instead, on their freshly made breads. The mini ciabatta loaves are especially noteworthy, but the rotating specials are also worth a glance.
Tamara H: Get the Iced Moroccan if you're into that sort of thing—& even if you're not. Though I scoff at flavored coffee on the reg, I must concede that this rules. Even better, hit up 2ferTues. w/ a friend.
