- XavierSeptember 16, 2016Very tasty authentic taiwan food. One of my best places in china town. (In pic. Taiwan noddles style, braised egg plant w/ basil & spicy schezuan beef)
- Steph SipeJune 23, 2013Really great xaio long Bao. They're larger in size than Din Tai Fung which make them even more challenging to eat, but totally worth it. Hot and Sour Soup was great too! I'd come back for sure.
- Great dumplings. Big menu with lots of tasty spicy options. I’m a big fan of the julienne chicken with shredded potato and green pepper. $20 credit card minimum charge.
- Peter SalemMarch 11, 2018Tried pork intestine (tender/chewy) and jellyfish (chilled, strong snap on biting through) for the first time. Normal menu items are all great, extremely fast service
- Tim LuoAugust 23, 2015I always get the pork chop on rice because it's a big portion with veggies, a braised egg, and pickles and it's only 6.95! Steamed pork buns are very good, and the scallion pancakes otherworldly!
- Greg TanJuly 14, 2018Agree with the other tip - xiao long bao (soup dumplings) are comparable with Din Tai Dung. Less delicate, but larger and heartier. Great authentic and cheap Chinese food! 🥟
- EaterJanuary 7, 2014The soup dumplings rival other options in the neighborhood, and the Szechuan fish is another must-try. [Eater 38 Member]
- Brea SimpsonMay 19, 2021Soup dumplings, noodles with beef, greens and shacha sauce, and scallion pancake roll. The perfect lunch.
- Soup dumplings were great but try the eggplant with basil! Great food and very cheap. Absolutely recommend it
- Scallion pancake with beef, beef with longhorn pepper, the fried pork chop, and the bitter melon soup are all incredible here. Best value in Chinatown.
- CITY GRITAugust 16, 2014We loved the Pork Chop Rice Plate & the Scallion Pancakes! We're also a sucker for any Soup Dumpling!
- D CAugust 11, 2019pork chop rice is 👌. always pick some up for my ride back to NY. I personally don't like the soup dumplings here, but the regular entrees are well done.
- Phil TorontoDecember 5, 2014These were some of the best pork soup dumplings I've ever had AND they come in orders of 7 🙌🐷
- Must try the vegetable steamed ravioli! Best veggie dumplings i've ever had. Skip the seaweed salad, too much garlic.
- Yu-MeiDecember 8, 2019Braised tofu, duck tongue, pig ears, oyster omelet, sautéed eggplants and any of the sautéed green leafy vegetables.
- EmilyJuly 5, 2013Try the steamed Chilean Seabass with soy sauce. Delicious! (But watch out for the small bits if bone that sometimes make their way into the dish.)
- Holly SOctober 5, 2014Out of all the dumpling houses in the area, this is definitely my favorite. The pork and seafood dumplings are incredible-
- Timothy HongOctober 25, 2015Xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) are amazing. Sea bass with tofu sauce, and julienned beef with long horned peppers!
- Big menu, but the kitchen can pull it off. Try the soup dumplings, oxtail soup and anything spicy.
- EmilyJuly 5, 2013The Fried Porkchop Over Rice is a good deal. Comes with white rice, vegetables and a whole tea egg.
- I'd been missing good beef noodle soup for so long. Try #35 under noodles: beef noodle soup with spinach!
- #2 House special fried pork chop on rice, #5 Thick bacon-cut braised pork, Entree #44 Spicy Salt&Pepper chicken w/basil.
- Ajit VergheseMarch 22, 2010Hot and sour soup is the best I've ever had. Soup dumplings (aks mini steamed pork buns) are amazing. Salt &pepper chix and eggplant w/ basil are standout. Careful - soup is more thn enough 4 2ppl
- My top menu picks: Oyster pancake, house special pork chop over rice, tomato & egg w/ beef, "hollow heart" veggies (cong xin cai), soup dumplings.
- An acquired taste, but I love their pork kidney and pork liver soups. Tender and tasty!
- Ben BearnotOctober 16, 2014Crab and pork soup dumplings are crazy delicious. Extremely (temperature) hot so beware yo mouth
- Bootham DeyyamDecember 27, 2016I went with popular recommendations eggplant with basil, fish fry and got some shrimp fried rice. The shrimp were not cleaned, eggplant was sweet and the fish fry had no flavor.
- The braised eggplant with basil is one of my favorite dishes at any restaurant. Give it a try! Much much better than the PF Changs knock-off
- Jeffrey ZhaoApril 3, 2016Salt and pepper chicken is great. Make sure to get a bubble tea from here too!
- Get the Sauteed Pork with Long Horn Pepper in Scallion Pancake Roll
- Beef with longhorn peppers, scallion pancakes and xiao long bao. 4/5
- Ellie S.July 28, 2013Whoever recommended the Stinky Tofu is a troll. Maybe this is an acquired taste, but it literally tasted like a diaper. They wouldn't take it off my check either. Everything else was great.
- Jenny SDecember 14, 2014As a Taiwanese I can say the food is not Taiwanese enough. Veggies were cold & pork chop was quite hard to chew. The only thing done right was the xiaolongbao (dumplings) or more like *da*longbao...
- Scallion pancakes are fluffy, crispy, and downright amazing here. The waitresses are very friendly.
- Nadeesha CabralMarch 30, 2013Ask for Tsingtao if you're looking for beer. Also, they give free refills on tea.
- Betty WangFebruary 1, 2015Oyster omelette was waaaay too greasy! And the sauce was distributed very unevenly.
- Sophie CaoDecember 31, 2018This was probably the worst Chinese restaurant food I've ever had. Just terribly cooked food, with cheap pieces of meat and no flavor at all. The oyster pancake was so disgusting I had to spit it out.
