Sort of mid-upper market Mexican street food. It’s all really tasty and you’ll have fun here. Just be aware you can have completely authentic and equally delicious tacos in a dozen other places nearby
Taco galore, lots of great veggie options (I liked the mushroom better than the fried avocado), perfect for a snack. Split a pitcher for four glasses. Happy hour on weekdays
The service is great here. Vegetariantacos are really tasty (you will need 2-3 to feel ok) they give you fresh tortilla chips with tasty mild salsa. Don't miss the house margaritas. LOVED IT!
"Their seasonal kale salad never fails, and every now and then you just have to get the queso dip. Don't think about what's in it and just eat it." Chef Adam Dulye Read more
Super chill vibe for a trendy spot in the mission. Come to grab a Pacifico off tap, a tall Tecate and some super delish tacos. A little pricy but this is San Francisco and the environment is legit!
Its fresh, local takes on traditional tacos, solid margaritas, and stylish atmosphere easily win out over other possibilities like Velvet Cantina and Tia Margarita. [Eater 38 Member]
I liked it, but this definitely leans towards yuppie Mexican food, especially when compared to the incredible Mexican you can find just around it in the Mission. Also, two hour waits on Fri/Sat.
Tacolicious is incredible. Taqueria is still the gold standard but man is this place gunning for the title. Best guac, al pastor, carnitas, margaritas. It's incredible
The Ya Mon (chili infused tequila with pineapple and lime) was a delicious and not too spicy of a tequila drink. Great option for something that's not a typical margarita.
In addition to the namesake tacos, there is also a menu full of other dishes from salads to enchiladas and tostadas. The full bar offers a huge selection of tequilas, beers and hand-crafted cocktails. Read more
I start with the Albacore Tuna Tostadas - Ask @ChefTelmo to tell you the story behind them... hilarious -, followed by Fried Pacific Cod Tacos, and the Ceviche Verde. Bonus: Their chips and salsa!
The green salsa is the best of the three served with tacos, but the salsa served with the chips is even better yet. A little less sweet and a little more heat and it would be 10/10.
Authentic? No. But fairly enjoyable, yes. Every single item on the menu -from tacos to margaritas to guac- tastes different every time you order it. Queso Dip, service & tequila selection are on point
At this brightly tiled, sceney spot (and Mosto, its tequila-bar annex), you can get pitchers of margaritas made with blackberry and tarragon and tacos of succulent prickly pear and queso oaxaca.
Holy mole! All the tacos are incredible with the mole taking the crown. hip atmosphere with inspiring tequila selection. Pricey but a must try when in the mission district (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Tacolicious is the place. The queso and quac are delicious. Order a pitcher of margaritas and two tacos each to fill you up. (You can always order more)

It's rather delicious. What sets this taco oasis apart from other joints in the area is the sit-down, high-end, "cocktail-driven" surroundings. Read more
This is a GREAT business! Great Food, and they give back to the community with 15% of all sales on Mondays going to a different local school. Go get some tacos & guacamole. You won't be disappointed.
Nothing wrong with the tacos here, but don't miss the small plates, including shrimp a la diabla, Veracruz-style squid and fried empanadas filled with Swiss chard and Oaxacan cheese: Read more
This is kinda like Bakersfield.. You can get margaritas and tacos. Its pretty good mexican food in a cool atmosphere if you don't feel like eating at a homey mexican joint.
They think that tacos can be eaten family style. They take individual orders and then have a look of glee and confusion when they drop off 1 plate for 7 people without explaining who's is who's.
Chips and salsa were great. Couldn't stop eating them. Pacific Cod taco was quite good as was the Vanilla BeanFlan. A bit noisy though on a Saturday afternoon.
They do several of their signature drinks by the pitcher if you want to go full throttle with a bunch of friends! http://barchick.com/find-a-bar/san-francisco/tacolicious
If we had a battle cry, it would be “Fingers not forks!” Tacolicious isn’t a taqueria by any standards, but we encourage eating in the spirit of one. Our menu incorporates six different tacos, as well as seasonal salads, a Tombo tuna tostada and more.
