they have two phenomenal complimentarypizza toppings table side, both homemade: roasted red peppers (slightly spicy) and a roasted garlic spread. put both on a margarita pie and you're in business.
Tuna salad, burratasalad and the coal oven pies are faaantastic. Sweet sauce, crusty-stretchy crust. Saw a crazy Nutella, mini marshmallow & strawberry pie, which I can't believe I didn't try.
Claiming to be the first spot in Brooklyn that'll give you coal-oven pizza by the slice, it's got enough nostalgia-inducing flavor, smell, and feel that you shouldn't sleep on it.
I really was looking forward to trying the pizza, but was disappointed. The pasta dishes were excellent however, and the staff couldn't have been nicer.
This place has sterile, hospital/bathroom-like fluorescent lighting. Ambiance gets an F. Save yourself the bad experience and go to one of the cute, delicious pizza places up the block.
