Great breakfast food can't really go wrong. Personal faves: Francis Benedict with a side of millionaire bacon (not a bacon fan but this is good). Marnier French Toast if you want something sweet.
The millionaire's bacon is so flavorful! I tried my friend's and can't imagine eating more than one piece. Snowed spinach scramble was good and I was impressed by the potatoes!
I had the bacon. It was the best bacon I've ever had and I'm not a big ol' bacon fan. I also had the Californian burger. It was dang near perfect. I'm going back and taking another friend next time.
Got here at 9am on a Sunday and had to wait around 20 minutes for a table for two (we got seated at the counter). Definitely worth the wait. Pictured is the Frisco Scramble
Top notch brunch spot in the city - yummy millionaires bacon, of course... Dixie bacon was really good too. Enjoyed my Oscar Benedict (crab) with perfectly cooked potatoes; Big Hip is truly decadent.
This Pac Heights corner has several Korean fusion breakfast options that do not disappoint. Easily the most impressive American-Korean combination has to be the Kim Benedict. Read more
The deep fried French toast. Come on. It’s too good. The wild Benedict is also good. Actually, everything here is good except the side potatoes. Those could use an upgrade IMHO
Expect to wait as this place is very popular and for good reason too! Everything is worth trying, the Millionaire bacon is like "their thing" but you would not be disappointed with anything!
Sweet potato pancakes were incredible and no where near as sickly as the French toast. Try adding berries on top, with a *must have* side of millionaires bacon.
For your sides: get the potatoeswell done, or substitute a fruit cup. There's an actual ripe fruit medley happening, with strawberries and kiwi, not just melon and grapes.
If the line is too much for you but you are still craving Millionaires Bacon head over to their other location, Kitchen Story, in the Castro. Also delicious, also has Millionaire Bacon
