Definitely one of my favourite spots in Florence. Great views of the city, high hedges, and nice sculptures. Opens at 8:30AM and costs 10 euros. Well worth it to get amazing views away from tourists.
If U R going 2 visit a lot of museums, churches, etc. then get the Firenze card. We'll worth the money 72euros, but it gets U in @ 30 different places & U can ride the main city bus for free.
It's a must see, You can feel themedieval times still lives in that bridge. The gold stores still use the same door systems to close for the day,It is amazing to see the new meeting the old.
Restaurant, wine-bar, jazz club and 2 wonderful suites for the night. Golden View Open Bar is my favourite place in Florence, it is in the historical centerm with a wonderful view on Ponte Vecchio.
The copy of the David, a wonderful collection of statues and Palazzo Vecchio are all in this beautiful square. There is also free water fountain to refill your water bottles - in sparkling and still!
Visit the church around 5 or 6 for a shorter line. If you've already lined up and seen the inside of the church, go downstairs and buy your ticket for the top from the gift shop. (No line here!)
Extremely overrated bridge. Prime tourist spot that is shoulder to shoulder during the day. Consider going to another less crowded bridge and having a view of the bridge and sunset.
During summer it's open till 11pm. You can access the lower level of the tower from 9 to 11 for €2 more. The awesome views of the Duomo are absolutely worth it!
Come here just before sunset. This is where the Tuscan sun shows its true colors.
With views like this, it doesn't matter what view you have from your hotel. Just come here for a drink and take in the ambiance and the views. And, unlike the Continentale Bar, they're always open.
Such a nice rooftop lounge in the heart of Florence! Stunning views over the city and great drinks (not cheap tho). Aperitivo time from 7 to 9 PM with min charge of 18 EUR p.p. little buffet included.
Book in advance or get here as early as possible! Save some energy for the Bottichelli and Donatello rooms - they are among the best collections, but unfortunately crowded and near the end.
Great place for people watching, in the city center, with many restaurants and venues. There are many street performancers and street artists, drawing right on pavement. Great to stop for a quick bite
Beautiful Piazza with panoramic views of the city. Go early in the morning (8AM) to avoid crowds or for sunset (still crowded but beautiful views). For runners, great run up the hill in the AM.
Not a hidden gem any more, but still very beautiful. Views of Florence are great. The cemetery is weird and wonderful – much bigger than seems possible! If you’re lucky, the monks will be chanting…

A wonderful little museum! Very short and cheap, so it's worth it! They have an excellent collection of medieval and early Renaissance decorative art and jewelry, as well as some fantastic sculptures.
Worth seeing once. There are a few of them all over Italy! One is enough! Don't expect to me mind blown just expect to have some toys to play with! It's quite small too
Originally intended for the Boboli Garden, then moved here. The fountain figure was sculpted and cast by Baroque master Pietro Tacca (1612) following a marble Italian copy of a Hellenistic marble.
Inside was far more amazing then I expected. You must go in! Won't take too long and is included in the tickets to see the other parts of the area.
Be at the door when it opens. Its a long haul to the top and people take breaks along the way to rest. Makes the wait crazy long.

FANTASTIC WINES! The first settlements in the area dates from the Etruscan age, and they were probably devastated by Gaulish invasions at the time of the latter's invasions against Rome. AMAZING VIEW!
People will say the the cathedral's cupola has the best views of Florence, but the campanile has view of Florence AND the cathedral!
