- Mark OmobonoJanuary 18, 2014We got washed out last weekend, but I learned after calling the front desk that you can bring back a purchased ticket you haven't used to be used at a later date. Phew!
- Off-Snow Enjoyment: Enjoy a long day of some of the best lift accessed downhill mountain bike trails in the east. Wild Turkey, Fisher Cat, Burly Maple, Snowball, East of Eden ... rest and repeat.
- Lipton Iced TeaJune 29, 2011Great in the summer too - hiking, biking, zip line rides, golf, swimming & other fun outdoor activities here. Excellent place to see concerts too!
- Great east coast ski resort - a lot of fun trails and good place to learn as a kid. Started here when I was 8!
- If possible, ski off the North Lynx chair in the morning to catch the morning sun and softer snow.
- Enjoy the natural landscape, and explore a bit. Getting lost is finally a good thing ... at Sugarbush!
- Castlerock is awesome after two feet of new snow, especially Castlerock Run. Middle Earth still has a few rocks sticking out, but still fun.
- Ski Rumble. The 1st entrance might freeze you 'cos of the boulder turn. If you don't want to think about that, ski down 20 feet and enter to skiers' left there.
- Philip MeeseFebruary 5, 2012Feb 2012: the base is established. Any overnight two inches of snow or better will set the "natural" trails up for great runs
- On busy days, be sure to head over to Mount Ellen. Lift lines are much shorter (and often non-existent). Mt. Ellen is open mid December until the last weekend in March.
- The staff is amazing and terrain park rocks, be sure to say hello! and thank the crew!
- Hey you! With all the stickers on his helmet... On the snowboard... Side slipping all the power off the trail... You're not good enough to be here... STOP!
- Stay away from Castlerock if you're not an expert. Every trail has huge moguls, thin cover and is never groomed. "Did we mention rocks?"
- Summer tip: Wednesday is $3 drafts (usually switchback) at Hogan's Pub at the golf course
- Ashley RoseDecember 28, 2014Not enough beginner routes- and the singles lift line was so rude- got cut off 2x inching up to the lift.
- Continue to North Lynx and hit Birch Run... I could ski that all day long
