Dive bar, for sure, but a sublime and perfected atmosphere of a New York City preserved and becoming of the best laid plans of Louis Winthorpe III and Billy Ray Valentine #TradingPlaces
What OUT for JERK BARTENDER on SUNDAYS 5pm I ASKED FOR LIMES 3X HE BLEW ME OFF HAVING TO ASK HIS FRIEND SITTING NEXT TO ME FOR LIMES HE THEN TAKES LIMES OUT OF CONTAINER SLAMMING THEM IN FRONT OF ME
You can order wings from "Atomic Wings" here. The nuclear wings were pretty weak - ate all ten without sipping my beer. Anyways, if you're looking for a convenient dive bar, this place works.
Only place in an upscaleneighborhood for a working person to get a fair priced drink to unwind after work. Mingle with all aspects of life from suits to dish washers in this dive bar from another era
We truly don't value something until it is no longer there. I'm not a bar customer anywhere, so I was not one to help support them - but valued their style (& use of their bathroom a couple times.)
One of our 10 best Manhattanbars- the dirty floors, slanted seats, ancient barstaff, and old regulars reeking of booze and death are ambiance you want to bottle.
