This place, really is not pleasant when it is busy. Number 1 airport lounges have now opened at 2 locations I believe which makes it more bareable....

Avoid Sunday evenings at this airport. Reserve extra time.

"You can get shuttles here to the nearby hotels like the Premier Inn and the Holiday Inn. They tend to go every half hour. The to get to then you will have to go underground from the airport."
