An absolute breakfast classic in the 24th Street corridor. Great stylish old fashioned diner with a huge menu and capacity to make great milkshakes and malts
Hangover food, good veggie options, and don't forget they have dinner! It's pretty cheap and there is beer too.The line on the weekends can get a bit crazy. Best looking American diner in SF. :)
Dress down or the hot topic punk rock servers will treat you like💩. Once you get past their striking a blow for the common man,the food and malts are awesome. Buy yourself some candy on the way out.
Friendly staff, great food, classic vibe. Going strong for over 100 years. I’ve met grown-ass adults from the neighborhood whose parents went on their first date here as teens.
The upside-down hog cakes are delicious! Bacon, green onion, and cheese in pancake form smothered in maple syrup make the perfect combo of sweet and savory!
Pretty good :) classic diner food, but lots of vegan options. Make sure you get the potatoes w/ sour cream, green onions & salsa (there's a special name for it). You must get the banana bread.
The "burger" could almost be classified as a pastrami sandwich with its thin-sliced "wheat meat." If you consume dairy, you're counseled to wash down your meal with a shake. Read more
If you are of the dairy-eating variety, order an egg to go with your NPT, which features a “pile of spuds” topped with jack cheese, salsa, sour cream and green onions. Read more
Friendly service, gr8 breakfast and ice cream sundaes. We wish they'd source free range eggs but the menu is broad and will appeal to you, your vegan friend, and your meat-loving in laws from Texas.

The Devil Burger destroyed my soul, had me reciting Anton LaVey in an ancient tongue of R'lyeh, my head spinning around, and the earth combusting around me. When I awoke, I was seited.
The aptly titled Vegan Thing—an impressive mound of potatoes, guacamole, vegan cheese, and salsa—cures hangovers better than an Alka-Seltzer. Plus, veganmilkshakes!
Go here. It's not meant to be a carnival of happiness. It a greasy spoon and does exactly what you'd expect from one. Plus, food's good and the milkshakes are tops.
The food is way better than your average greasy diner food. But you won't get Flo serving you here....lots of tattoos instead. Which is great, if you get one with a good attitude.
Grab the country breakfast, the soyrizo and eggs, or the chef's mess. All are great! OJ is fresh squeezed and they have random old-school candy sold, like Magnum PI bubble gum and cards!
