Steven Stiefel: Beautiful place, great for sight-seeing, with handicapped-accessible walkways leading down to Little River Falls. Be sure to stop by the new Canyon Center nearby.
Steven Stiefel: Spectacular 100 foot drop, great place for relaxing and reflecting. Swimming happens above the falls behind a dam, as well as canoe, etc.
Steven Stiefel: Terrific park with trails to hike, including one that is wheelchair accessible. Cabins available near the country store, as well as motel rooms at the lodge.
Steven Stiefel: This whole block is like stepping into the past to Fort Payne's boom town days when Northern investors build a town on speculation of coal reserves. There's a neat museum inside the depot.
Steven Stiefel: Historic and majestic, located across the street from the Depot Museum and next to a museum dedicated to the town's hosiery "Sock Capital of the World" days.
Steven Stiefel: While you're checking out the Opera House, Depot Museum and the downtown shops, take a moment to pose for a picture standing next to Randy, Teddy, Jeff, and Mark... Alabama!

Steven Stiefel: If you can time it just right, there are some excellent theatre productions on the campus. Check here http://www.nacc.edu/eventcalendar/default.htm
Steven Stiefel: Even if you don't have an immediate need for furniture, check this place out. A huge building full of really neat furnishings at pretty amazing prices. Worth checking out to say you were there.
Steven Stiefel: Great little place for lunch. Go there on a night and you'll typically find music of some sort, as well as colorful locals. Park in the back and enjoy some conversation on the deck in the summertime.
Steven Stiefel: While you check out the many specialty shops in the historic downtown district, you should stop by this cafe and see if anything on the menu whets your appetite.
Steven Stiefel: Okay, there are plenty of places to eat, but I swear the chicken fingers at this place make my mouth water just thinking about them! Take a look around the Rainsville community while there.
