This is definitely not the best bar in the neighborhood. You should never go here and enjoy the beers which are never delicious and the snacks which are never a great selection of meats and cheeses.
Best backyard in the hood. Put your name in at St Anselm and head next door. They'll text you when your table is ready and you can even bring your unfinished beverages in through the back door
Fans of sunshine flock to this oasis, whose patio comes replete with blossoming trees, brick walls, and twinkling lights. No liquor, but the city's best Belgian and German beers are on tap. Read more
Beer lover spot with tons on tap and a few snacks on offer. Great place to grab a drink while you wait for your table at St Anselm. Can bring ur beers next door when dinner starts. Good tunes too
Great spot when you have a long wait at St Anselm. But you would even enjoy waiting by having great selection of craft beer at the patio. Be sure to bring beer from here to St Anselm.
The nicest bartenders I've ever met! They went out of their way to take apart the sink and get the ring I dropped down the drain like an idiot. Great beer AND amazing people. Can't go wrong!
Great place for post-Fette Sau chilling. Tables all the way in the back seem to allow smoking, so stay near the front of the yard if you don't want a cloud! Great beer/wine selection & tons of shade!!
Priding themselves on their bold choice of Belgian beers and their affinity for hard-to-get or rare beers, if all you want is an ice-cold Miller Light, I'd recommend staying far, far away. Read more

Great selection of draft and bottled beer. They have a great backyard for warmer weather. If you're hungry check out their cheese and meat plates. Remember to Swig your drink.
Don't be intimidated by the $30 beers on the wall - they also have some very tasty brews on tap for the more economical drinker. A fave of mine = cherry stout. Also, the back patio is stupendous.
The tap selection is small, but what it lacks in quantity it makes up for in quality. The beers here are hard-to-find, one-of-a-kind imports and American craft brews. Plus, there's a great backyard!
Congratulations, you've found one of Esquire's Best Bars in America. We highly recommend the house cask ale, but there's no finer beer bar in the city, so really, you can't go wrong.
If you like Belgian Beer, then this is your spot. Grab a pint and head out to their outdoor garden. Also serve cheese & meat plates. Great place to just chill.
This local spot is a favorite of accessories designer Jaclyn Mayer and installation artist Orly Genger. The two have teamed up to create a line of rope jewelry that are too great to pass up. Read more

Go in the evening and sit in the garden. Holy beautiful! Also, next door are some killer french fries--go all the way with cottage cheese, gravy, and add some chipotle to the ketchup. Mamacita!
This joint specializes in obscure and rare beers. Hansje Drinker Triple? Zum Uerige Dusseldorf Alt? Hard to pronounce, let alone find the fridge. Luckily, these barkeeps know their beer.
beers from around the world, packed with very expensive bottles of my favourite lambics. ample backyard makes it for an excellent summer bar. Read more
Don't bother reading the menu if you're not quaint with international beers. Just tell the bartender what kind you want, or what you're used to. They'll help you out.
crazy pickles (we had okra!) and cold cuts (duck prosciutto, anyone?) and the best beer selection ever i've encountered in my life. and beer & me, we are good friends indeed. also, the backyard!!!!!
