Mahogany and lined with unmarked taps. The walls: adorned with faded paintings. The chandeliers: all halo-y. Greenpoint-brewed house beers, including a 12% ABV caramel-and-toffee-tinged Quad Bock.
This place is legit: the original brewery operation in Germany has been run by Bavarian monks for 375 years, and this location has six special beers to call its own
Wide open space, and a great selection of food from the 4 restaurants they rotate in and out each season.
This is about as grungy as Park Slope gets, meaning it’s a tiny bit edgy but mostly clean. Come for the open-air space, stay for the beer selection and pinball machines. Bonus: they allow dogs.
