Genius concept. Greek food is simple, clean and delicious, and there's not enough of it in SF proper. This is a fresh take on it with a wide appeal and (I hope) good margins. Whole chicken is a must.
If you're on the hunt for a good salad, look no further. You'll find a variety of great ones here along with great Greek stylewraps. Definitely try their frozen yogurt with bites of baklava on top! Read more
Expensive but so good. Try the vegetarian white sweet potato salad or sandwich and get it 'greek style': they throw a handful of their seasoned fries on top for only 50 cents extra!
Friendly place with nice small tables on the sidewalk. They're quick to serve and the food is delicious. I'd recommend the salads as they're very delicious and easier to eat.
The food is great. My favorite is the lamb kebab or salad. The salads are well flavored and just lack carbs so they’re good if you’re dieting. The sour cherrysyrup on the frozen yogurt is intense
Lamb legsalad and pork shoulder sandwich are really flavorful. Can add pita bread to any salad for an additional $1. Juicy potatoes are named appropriately so skip the fries and get these instead.
Huge, juicy, spit-roasted meat-filled pitasandwiches are what you'll find here. Don't miss the Lamb LegSandwich, Greek Fries, & Harissa-Spiked Yogurt and read all about it on WinstonWanders below!! Read more
Order their rotisserie roasted lamb, chicken, pork or sweet potato in pita or salad format (or order it Greek-style, which means fries on or in it). Read more
The chicken sandwich was excellent and the potatoes were great too, but both of them are little oily :) + super friendly staff 👍🏽👍🏽 next time I'll go for the salad bowl and the Greek fries
Dat soft-serve frozen Greek yogurt topped with olive oil and flaky sea salt. Share it (ask for it in two cups) and eat in the park nearby if it’s too crowded inside (which it probably will be).
I loved the Chicken Souvla. Can't wait to try the lamb and pork. The fries were great but I hear the dripped potatoes are better. I wish one yogurt sauce was included with the potatoes.
Coming from a Greek (me): chicken soup was amazing (as good as my moms, hehe), sandwiches were great and filling. I would put a photo of everything here but ate all before I realised!
Super fast service. Suspect world end after 2 mins. Great ambience. Good wifi. Deli food, both lunch and dinner. Go for pork shoulder or lamb salad. Trust me.
Community style eating. Good service. Felt like an upscale version of food truck experience. VeggieSweet Potato wrapped in Pita bread was delicious. Any of the Frozen yogurt flavors are a must have.
The lamb and the chicken wraps are my favorites as well as the orange juice. Excellent place for a quick bite and portions that will not make you feel like you ate a cow (i.e. moderate portion size).
Pork makes the most traditional pitawrap. The x-rated roasted potatoes are cooked under a rotisserie lamb shoulder???! and are totally delicious. Go with Skouras rosé to complete your Hellenic party.
I never developed a liking for the actual wrap part of a wrap and no exception here. Never thought I would ever say this but get the salad! Brings out the flavor more, with a added bonus of healthy!
The concept of the place is nice. The taste is good, I just think maybe it's missing a yogurt sauce inside, something to make it less dry. Try the Greek yogurt as dessert it's delicious!
Lamb sandwich was great! The waitress also offered us a taste of the Greek yogurt with baklava on top - it was so good I'd come here next time just for that!
The lamb sandwich is enormous. Also get a side of Greek potatoes covered in meat juice, you will not regret it. If you're not in the mood for bread, get the salad.
Lamb. Greek frozen yogurt with Cretan honey. Sometimes I order extra and put it in the freezer for the next day - it's still delicious and the texture becomes more like I've cream
Love this spot. Laid back, order at the counter, stuff only comes in a sandwich or salad version, yet you feel like you're in a really nice, trendyrestaurant.
Get the chicken salad + greek style + hot sauce. Souvla soaks their chicken with a feta brine to give it that unique flavor. Search "nytimes feta-brined roast chicken" to learn more.
Fries are great. Really fresh food, but lamb was dry. Also tried the veggie wrap, and the slabs of sweet potato are pretty overwhelming. Good ingredients, just wish they did falafel or something.
One of the last restaurants I went to when I was in SF with my daughter. Their roasted chicken was some of the best I’ve had and is definitely worth a try. It is excellent quality for the price!
We're a Greek sandwich shop & wine bar in San Francisco's Hayes Valley serving spit-roasted meats, warm pitas, Greek wine & beer, and Greek frozen yogurt.
