- Ellen McGrodyJune 24, 2015Really cool venue with a great aesthetic, friendly staff, an extensive drink selection including many unique in-house brews, and wonderful food. Try the sage fries, you'll leave very happy!
- Most crowded brewery I've ever been to. Even on a rainy night. Prices are great as well. Love the vibe. gets crowded earlier than you would expect.. Maybe there are daytime drinkers as well.
- timoni westApril 17, 2013When your friends suggest going here, roll your eyes, heave a sigh, then gently suggest sitting outside at Mission Bowl instead, which has superior food & drinks and a similar, less hectic, ambiance.
- Adrian PhillipsOctober 31, 2015Brewery with a great selection their own and visiting brews on tap. Burger and garlic fries hit the spot. Would recommend skipping the post work crowd as it is packed. Full liquor selection too.
- Dakota ArkinJune 2, 2016This huge loft space has 21 beers on tap and a food menu that you can’t go wrong with. It's a great working space with a pint earlier on and fun and jovial as the day turns to night.
- Nice open space. Grab some beers upstairs and enjoy people-watching from above. I like the sage fries and Brussels sprout chips.
- Sara TaylorSeptember 10, 2017Lots of seating, inside and out. Recommend the sage fries for a snack, but they have a full menu if you're really hungry. Their own beer on tap and rotating guest beers too.
- Grab a pint of the deliciously flavorful Pale Ale for only $3. Don't be afraid of pizzas with toppings like sweet potato becuase they are delicious. Great burger too. Garlic sage fries!
- Jennifer YipSeptember 16, 2014come here on a weekday night for a chill environment to grab some beer and catch up with friends
- AFAR MediaJanuary 22, 2015This 15-barrel on site brewery creates a wonderful variety of house brews that go swimmingly with chef Corey Walsh's beer influenced culinary skills. Come hungry and thirsty. Read more
- Great for a big group. Tucked away in an off-street of the Mission, there's great outdoor space and vast indoors. The food is good for bar food and the beverage options are plentiful.
- Brooks HassigSeptember 25, 2014As a vegetarian who doesn't drink, this place is actually great. The black bean burger is the best I've had in the Mission. Order a Bundaberg ginger beer and you're good to go.
- Jon B.April 22, 2017Massive indoor warehouse-turned-brewery perfect for large get-togethers. The fact that the house brews are excellent and great value is an added bonus.
- Mohit SJanuary 31, 2015Good place for groups since you can usually commandeer a table if you hover for long enough. Also, get two orders of the fries. It'll save you the second trip that you're inevitably going to make.
- Arkadiy KukarkinFebruary 24, 2015Situated in the old Kilger Machine Works, which used to manufacture parts for the titular railroad (just a block away from here)
- Carole PlanconJanuary 11, 2017Such a nice and spacious spot to gather with friends, especially when it's nice out (Big patio!). Lots of seating and nice food 🍻🍟🍔🍗
- Christian BakerApril 5, 2016Large indoor/outdoor space, and pub grub was on point. Wish the beers had more inspired names. "IPA" and "Belgian" can mean a lot of different things.
- Jessie SSeptember 11, 2017Perfect for a warm afternoon, hangs with friends and sharing some pints of beers. They have a great outdoor and indoor area for big groups of people 👍🏻
- SFGate ManagerJuly 16, 2012Don't miss the beer tastings, which are like a sampler platter for brews, and the House Burger, made with chile rub and served alongside fries, pickled onions and house pickles.
- Nick GreifAugust 25, 2013At $3 a pint the beer is cheap but not a value deal. Brews don't compare to top notch west coast brands. Open spaces help make up for the crowded yuppie ambience, but all in all it's no big draw.
- Lisa GreenfieldJanuary 23, 2013Such a cool spot. I highly recommend the sage fries. Make sure you try the ketchup and mustard too! Homemade and packed with flavor, not what you would expect.
- The Banh Mih is delicious and flavorful, the pickles are yummy, the burgers and house brewed beers are meh, but they stock lots of other beers too. The space is open and bright.
- Andrew HarastaAugust 6, 2014Very large, open atmosphere. Central and accessible water and restroom facilities. Not too impressed with the beer selection. Friends said the food was delicious.
- David GolborneJune 12, 2016Get the Bahn mi. Now. Wait, why haven't you gotten it yet. The porter is good as well.
- If you leave here without getting sage fries with aleppo sauce, you are doing yourself a great injustice.
- Trevor HillOctober 18, 2015Great spot for a large group. No matter the size of your party you're guaranteed to find space for them here
- Sherry LiJuly 25, 2015Awesome place. Love the outdoor, indoor, and loft seating areas. Food is great. Get the sage fries.
- Bachelor10August 24, 2012Park your crew here in the late afternoon, before dinner, and after a daytime activity. Sit outside if it’s warm (is it ever warm in San Francisco?). Read more
- Great place to go with a group. $3 for their great pale ale is a steal.
- Noam RubinAugust 17, 2014Great beers brewed behind the bar, but kind of weak atmosphere -- don't plan to stay here past 11.
- Amanda SchneiderMay 30, 2015Huge space. Outdoors and indoors, but the indoor portion is a great way to stay warm and feel like you're outside.
- Nate BeattyMarch 13, 2016Awesome brews in the heart of the Mission. Lots of space to hang out with a group
- Great outdoor space! Beer, wine (on tap!) and mixed drinks with delicious bar bites.
- Matt MartinOctober 26, 2014Honestly, the beer is fine but not great (although the guest taps are usually well appointed) and that goes for the food as well. It's the atmosphere that's the draw.
- Banh mi is all right (go to Duc Loi for better, cheaper, and more authentic ones), but the sage fries are amazing.
- Amy MatsunoOctober 19, 2014Great for large groups! Big open space, nice lighting. Turn dinner into a night of drinks all in one venue.
- Ben MackeySeptember 25, 2018Dog friendly, good beers and food. Nice place to catch up with a group of friends.
- Ken BaldwinMarch 31, 2014Great brewery w craft beers and hang out - mostly a happy hour place - huge space in the Mission - st8ish crowd
- Genevieve BundaAugust 14, 2014Great bar food 👌 along with great music. A nice chill place to bring a friend or a whole group!
- StephanyOctober 6, 2012Grab a pitcher of Pale Ale and sage fries to share and sit in the sun out front!
- Jesse AtkinsonAugust 31, 2014Holy hell this place is huge! What a gem. Must go. One of the coolest breweries in San Francisco.
- A sort of generic space, but nice and open; good for gatherings. The beer is good too!
- Connie C.November 29, 2015Brussel sprouts are amazing. 👌🏼 But it's freezing here, so make sure to bring a thick jacket and maybe a blanket.
- Frances JamesJanuary 17, 2015Good for big groups (with no rezzies) because you can usually find a big table to share. Food and beer are solid. Has cocktails too but stick to basics
- Ashley KemperJuly 12, 2015Two full bars and great food options makes this an ideal happy hour or weekend hangout spot.
- A huge space, good food, lots of good self-brewed beers and lots of natural light. Pretty unique in the Mission.
- Patrick Finley (@pjfinley)December 20, 2014Decent spot to check out. Can be hard to find but offers local brews and well known brews as well.
