Downstairs is great spot. A minimal but chic interior. Food was very good,. but not a big menu. Bar prices excellent There were several bands jamming. Cool vibe overall. Love the bar lights!
Another tip said it was "ghetto looking" ...really?! Downtown they'd say "rustic and charming"! It's very clean w/cute artwork and handmade stuff. The service is so friendly and the food is amazing.
I went to see a very close friend perform. The vibe is positive, the food and beverage are reasonably priced, and the music magnifies an already wonderful experience. I'd recommend it.
Awesome cozy place. We brought our kids for the live music, everyone is fienly. The service is very friendly too. Food delicious. One of the best falafel around
I love the downstairs! It's relaxing and very chill. Love the hookah and the drinks are strong. Went with my fiance and for happy hour and had a good time.
Cafe? check. Giftshop? check. Bar? check. Music? check. Lounge?.....Well, you get the idea by now. This venue has (3) levels so be sure to ask for a mini tour. The downstairs is state of the art cool!
They hold some nice live acts in a very cozy spacedownstairs. Hookah is tobacco-free, if you are into that sort of thing. Really good vibes from the whole scene.
Update 12/9/13: They took my chair advice and changed the majority of them. Really makes my experience that much better. Great music every time I've been here and the food is always spot on.
This place has the charm of a cozy spiritually uplifting loft. Free wifi. GREAT service and amazing food. Good vibes all around. A gem for this neighborhood!
Ambiance was nice when they figured out the music volume and proper lighting. Food was excellent, Chairs were very uncomfortable for those with larger thighs...overall a very good speakeasyish spot.
Solid food and wonderful wide-ranging evening gigs, but the service is so very poor especially downstairs. I was sitting at least 10 minutes and no one even gave me a menu. :(
I do not recommend this place. I went here on a Sat. night. I thought it was a hookah bar but its just a basementbar & it's ghetto. A fight broke out with the bar tender & patrons, left immediately.
Astoundingly awful service. Waiters had to be reminded constantly of bringing bread and after 1 hour I asked again and the waiter said in a rude way that kitchen was overwhelmed. Really, for 2 pitas?
