Michael Carr-SmithAugust 27, 2013Downstairs is great spot. A minimal but chic interior. Food was very good,. but not a big menu. Bar prices excellent There were several bands jamming. Cool vibe overall. Love the bar lights!
Another tip said it was "ghetto looking" ...really?! Downtown they'd say "rustic and charming"! It's very clean w/cute artwork and handmade stuff. The service is so friendly and the food is amazing.

Update 12/9/13: They took my chair advice and changed the majority of them. Really makes my experience that much better. Great music every time I've been here and the food is always spot on.

A gem for this neighborhood!- Ambiance was nice when they figured out the music volume and proper lighting. Food was excellent, Chairs were very uncomfortable for those with larger thighs...overall a very good speakeasyish spot.
