SIFF had a terrific opportunity to buy the aging Uptown Cinema last year and it's now reopened, steam-cleaned and restored. Check out Purple Rain, Hedwig, Grease and many more films coming soon. Read more

One of the few places in Seattle to watch independent films. Old, needs an upgrade, specially their AC.

Another inferior digital presentation for "Raiders Of The Lost Ark". Some theaters seem to have digital down reasonably well, SIFF does not.

Go see "Aftershock." It's Oscar-worthy and Uptown is the only place in Seattle showing it.

"Die Hard".......typical rude @ noisy seattle audience and a shitty digital presentation. Still, great to see "Die Hard" on the big screen.
