when i used to work at sony, we'd lunch here with the team: peking duck was a favorite (among other dishes). possibly some of the best chinese outside of chinatown

A high-end Chinese eatery with traditional and classic dishes. We find this elegant and fancy setting to be absolutely wonderful! The staff is always attentive, and we love ordering the orange beef.

After removing it from the menu for a few years, they are once again serving General Tso’s Chicken, which they allegedly invented. It is delicious and definitely worth a visit!

Invented General Tso's Chicken, a staple among American Chinese restaurants, in the 1970s. They brought it back after a long hiatus. This place is on the pricier and fancier end of the spectrum.

Grand Marnier shrimp and pillowy mu shu make for an elegant pre-Lincoln Center meal best taken with martinis and friends.

Seems like maybe it was good in the past but was only so so. The spare ribs had no sauce. Beijing duck and grand marnier shrimp were marginal. Really expensive for mediocre food.

Invented General Tso's Chicken, but doesn't serve it anymore due to demand becoming an annoyance.

Very disappointed in the food after my wife has talked so highly of this place for years. Very oily and meat was all overlooked. I would not recommend for the price.
