This is one of London’s ‘ghost’ stations, closed since 1994. During the Blitz it housed precious treasures from the British Museum. These days it’s in regular demand as a film set.
It really is a spectacular sight to behold and will send shivers down your spine (in a good way). A true American icon and wonderful experience.
