Sheri Swammy: This aquarium has the BEST sea horse display out of several across the country. My daughter loved her amazing birthday party we had here along with the dolphin cruise right from the aquarium!

Sheri Swammy: There are often great deals for annual passes to this zoo and we love to visit throughout the year to see their seasonal and holiday displays. Be sure to bring a little extra cash to feed the giraffe!

Sheri Swammy: Enjoy lunch and get work done- my co-workers raved about the offerings from Hemingway's and I enjoyed a smoothie with turmeric as a surprise ingredient. Private rooms are available for meetings.

Sheri Swammy: We've always enjoyed the changing displays here- and if your child is in the Girl or Boy Scouts- their specially designed events keep the kids learning while having a truly fun time!

Sheri Swammy: This spot features some South Indian dishes which keeps my husband happy- a native of Madurai, India. Be sure to order the garlic naan and my favorite is the Butter Chicken! Great for dinner.

Sheri Swammy: Enjoy learning about Tampa's history with fun, interactive displays. We especially loved all the pirate displays!

Sheri Swammy: A great spot for lunch before or after a visit to the Tampa Bay History Center. I enjoyed the Mojo Chicken sandwich and they have a great kids' menu.

Sheri Swammy: We loved meeting the owners when we had our rehearsal dinner here. Charming atmosphere, great American food. We enjoyed a sampling of several dishes.They've since been featured on the Food Network!

Sheri Swammy: Great little restaurant onsite for lunch and you can bring your dog too! I especially liked the lobster roll. Nice day with the family

Sheri Swammy: Learn to milk a cow, ride a pony, and catch a chicken! Friendly staff. At our daughter's birthday party, the kids were all entertained and they made it EASY for us to enjoy the day as well.

Sheri Swammy: Charming and welcoming- making this a great place to relax with friends or co-workers. With so many flavors to choose from, I like to choose one from the drink combinations recommended each day.

Sheri Swammy: Of course there's a great selection of books, but we love to participate in the summer reading activities too. We saw a magician, petted an albino snake, and learned to make balloon animals!

Sheri Swammy: Always a favorite. I enjoy their seasonal take on their pancakes- PUMPKIN SPICE- I look forward to it every year! Everything is made from scratch and their omelets are huge.

Sheri Swammy: This is a favorite of ours. Live music every Friday and Saturday make for a great night. Be sure to go true authentic and order a Guinness at this true Irish bar before moving on to their craft beers.

Sheri Swammy: Charming and delicious cakes! I like to get my own "bundlet"- a personal size bundt cake all to myself.

Sheri Swammy: We ordered our wedding cake from here and go back every year for a mini version. We chose their signature pound cake with homemade fondant- so moist, delicious, and with an amazing distinctive flavor.

Sheri Swammy: A tiny, tucked away shop with delicious fresh bagels and breakfast sandwiches. Their simple egg and cheese is my favorite!

Sheri Swammy: Authentic Cuban made all from scratch. My husband's favorite is the classic Cuban, while my chicken version was a great alternative for a delicious lunch.

Sheri Swammy: This place is a great place to relax in the middle of a day of shopping as well as enjoy local art. I especially like the Vanilla latte.

Sheri Swammy: This relatively new outlet is constantly adding to its surrounding restaurants to create a perfect day of shopping and lunch. Clean and well-laid out. We always are sure to stop by the Disney Store.

Sheri Swammy: Little ice cream shop with excellent options- from 'SuperHero" to "Mudslide" chocolate on top of chocolate- delicious! Spend some extra time here to shop homemade Amish specialties- great for gifts!.

Sheri Swammy: All the very best upscale brands and department stores are here. You can't go wrong with buying something from Tiffany's for a wedding present- always classy.

Sheri Swammy: An eclectic blend of shops that includes budget-friendly options. I always stop at Ulta- a true piece of heaven with the best makeup and hair products. Chuck E Cheese and a great theater are here too.

Sheri Swammy: Some of our favorites include 'the farm' and 'the hospital' with their interactive displays. We were fortunate to catch the Wizard of Oz traveling exhibit and come back often for new exhibits.

Sheri Swammy: A great outdoor mall that also features an amazing Christmas display with 'dancing lights'. We love their Fresh Markets with dozens of local artisans on select Saturdays.

Sheri Swammy: After trying (and failing!) to make these difficult pastries, we leave it to the authentic professionals! We always get an assortment and my favorite include the lemon and strawberry.

Sheri Swammy: This bakery has a long history in Tampa. I always love to see them come to the Florida State Fair with their take on the Strawberry Shortcake.

Sheri Swammy: Just about everything from here are our favorites. The crab dip is fresh with great seasoning. We especially like the fried grouper- just the right mix of coating and a generous serving of fish.

Sheri Swammy: A great place to shop for unique gifts. Try to get there when a cruise ship is in port to appreciate just how big they are! Several restaurants are here as well and is next to the Florida Aquarium.

Sheri Swammy: Fun atmosphere and great Greek food. I particularly enjoy the Chicken Kabob. Make this stop part of a day trip to Ybor City for lunch or a fun place to enjoy before a night out.

Sheri Swammy: A great place for lunch with co-workers. Beautifully views outside of the river- a nice place to take someone new to Tampa. I enjoy their grouper sandwich.

Sheri Swammy: This one is a must for any first-timer to Tampa. Authentic Cuban food with a great atmosphere. I like their take on their shrimp and yellow rice dish.

Sheri Swammy: Although it has all your favorite Mexican dishes here, I mostly enjoy coming for appetizers and drinks- classic Margaritas are delicious, but I especially enjoy their Sangria.

Sheri Swammy: Lunch with a friend or co-workers for this spot. My favorite seasonal soup is their butternut squash. Their chicken limone is light and delicious.

Sheri Swammy: This is perfect to celebrate any special occasion. Relaxing cruise, decent dinner, and fun drinks. I definitely recommend the dinner cruises to enjoy a unique night out with drinks and dancing.

Sheri Swammy: Enjoying a walk in the evening is a great date. Combine it with one of several restaurants in the area for a complete night. Art work along the way added to the beautiful scenery.

Sheri Swammy: A great place to enjoy drinks after work along with beautiful views of the water. I definitely recommend going around sunset.

Sheri Swammy: Fun and drinks in one spot. A grown-up take on an arcade. You can't go wrong with any of the drinks on the menu, but I love the "Pirate's Hook" with a blend of fruit juices and rum.

Sheri Swammy: Nothing beats seeing an amazing broadway show. This Performing Arts center is a beautiful venue. I recommend adding a dinner package- the menus change according to the show to match the theme.

Sheri Swammy: This is a smaller venue to see a concert or play and it often hosts amazing options. It's a great place to do a family matinee.

Sheri Swammy: This popular chain started in Tampa and it's a perfect spot for a quick lunch. I recommend saving this place for a Friday and treat yourself to a Twinkie shortcake milkshake!

Sheri Swammy: With a variety of strengths offered for their hand-rolled cigars, this shop provides options that suit a wide variety. Going in person is great, but they also offer convenient online shopping.

Sheri Swammy: Nice, clean shopping center with a great movie theater. I recommend stopping by Godiva while you're here for their champagne truffle.

Sheri Swammy: Excellent supply of live rock, fish, and equipment. A great assortment of coral can be enjoyed and viewed making shopping here fun. We always enjoy talking with their knowledgeable staff.

Sheri Swammy: Popular stores, restaurants and theater makes this a great shopping option. If you want something healthy, opt for Season 52, but if want to indulge yourself in a big family meal, go for Maggiano's

Sheri Swammy: The spring rolls are my favorite here! Crispy and light- while my husband prefers the egg rolls. Best part is they're ready in only a few minutes and convenient to Publix.

Sheri Swammy: Always a favorite. I go with the 'Old Timer's breakfast' for a sampling of their best. Be sure to enjoy a bit of shopping before or after breakfast in their shop full of great gifts.

Sheri Swammy: Simple, reliable breakfast with occasional seasonal changes. I suggest coming for breakfast, but be sure to grab one of their whole pies (French silk is my favorite) to take home for later.

Sheri Swammy: Beautiful environment and unpretentious service makes this a great place to truly enjoy a delicious steak. Definitely go with the lobster mac and cheese as one of your shareable sides.

Sheri Swammy: My Vietnamese friends love the authenticity and freshness of their Pho. I stuck with their excellent fried rice but was lucky to sample from my friends' dishes and will order that next time!

Sheri Swammy: This makes for a satisfying and quick dinner after work. A nice option if you're going to a potluck or need to pick up dinner for your family since you can order a variety of meats and sides.

Sheri Swammy: There's a lot of unique options to try here. If you want a big start to the day, go with the steak and eggs. For the one-of-a-kind experience, try their guava-stuffed French toast.

Sheri Swammy: Pancakes are the star here with several different options, My favorite is the "Florida Pancakes" with strawberries, bananas, and blueberries.

Sheri Swammy: Where many times 'fast' means 'unhealthy', Starbucks surprisingly has a great healthy option- their turkey bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Definitely a go-to when I haven't had time for breakfast.

Sheri Swammy: Normally known for its nice seafood option, I really enjoy their Sunday brunches- be sure to enjoy their bottomless mimosas!

Sheri Swammy: I recommend going with one of their combinations- tacos and enchiladas are my favorite. Tip for the kids: There are tiny white kitten figurines hidden throughout the restaurant to find!

Sheri Swammy: Try the fajitas for two, have some of their refreshing margaritas, and enjoy a nice dinner at this casual but delicious Mexican restaurant.

Sheri Swammy: Classic American diner breakfast experience. Unique here are their numerous ways to serve hashbrowns (I like mine 'covered'). No frills, quick, and satisfying.

Sheri Swammy: The calzones are definitely not meant for just one- huge portions, fresh and delicious. Be sure to pair with their garlic bread sticks for an excellent dinner.

Sheri Swammy: This stunning restaurant is perfect for a special dinner. Get a babysitter for the kids and enjoy any of their dishes- the salmon for me was fresh and perfectly cooked.

Sheri Swammy: The seafood boil features a sampling of some of the best- crab, shrimp, oysters, mussels- all in my favorite way to enjoy - Old Bay seasoning. Nice, relaxed atmosphere for a dinner during the week.

Sheri Swammy: A fun option for sampling wine with friends. We love coming to their annual blueberry festival, enjoying blueberry wine, and picking blueberries, of course!
