I must applaud them for three things: having potato pancakes, being open 24/7, and having the independence of thought to offer a shake made out of pie (which I've yet to try, but feel I must.)

The only restaurant in San Bruno with a view. From this hilltop diner, you can see across the verdant valley to the hills of SSF.All their pies can be made into shakes.Also, dat Bavarian burger.

Avoid the "fresh" strawberry pancake toppers. It's a sugary mess. Chorizo skillets are excellent!!
