Loads of character from staff, decor and original fittings despite the rooms feeling a little dated. Mon-Fri 5.30-6.30 wine happy hour to start the evening
Tucked away in a neighborhood AND that there was free wi-fi. The rooms are small but if you’re doing it right, you shouldn’t be spending too much time in your room.
The rooms are lovely and clean. The stuff was very nice and helpful. Their WiFi is free but the base options is terribly slow - didn't get around trying the paid one.
The former Empire Hotel, where Scottie (Jimmy Stewart) has encountered a woman who looks just like Madeleine (Kim Novak) in Alfred Hitchcock's thriller "Vertigo".
You pay extra for everything, my taxes were included in my prepaid voucher: paid them double. Double beds are to small even for leprechauns if you want a bigger one 30 $per night.staff is welcoming
Pleasantly surprised the rooms actually look like the photos on the website. No vending machines so you'll have to go to the convenience store two doors down.
Very noisyhotel, walls are like paper. Also cleaning lady wants to come clean your room at 8-9 in the morning, so be sure that u have do not disturb sign hanging outside
Room was not clean at all. Also, furniture was outdated. Staff was okay, not super nice. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you're staying in San Francisco
