This gem of a restaurant is a gleaming beacon in the midst of a very weird area. For dessert the Riz au Lait is heaven.
The Aurora pizza is one of the best, and their creative cocktails make you want to willingly hand over fists of money for them. Due to the open kitchen and oven it is always sweltering inside.
A food adventure with a killer wine list. Try the smaller plates up front while sitting at the bar. Cocktails are good as well, but the wine shines.
While small, the space is open and relaxed, with a large back room with a wraparound bench and table for larger groups. The wine is good, and so are the small plates and deli-style bites on display.
The servers really know their wine, so try all of their recommendations on their rotating daily menu. Eat a small plate, and go home with a bottle or three of wine, ready for purchase.

One of my favorites for excellent quality solid French food. The resto itself is long and lovely with lots of wood, mirror and light. Rad staff, killer wine. Get lunch for 15 euro, but go for dinner.
On the rare occasion I leave the 11th, or get breakfast, I go here. Several different style breakfasts - American, Swedish, French... and piping hot drip coffee.

Double spicy cheddar with bacon and a Brooklyn Lager is the perfect combo. Add a side of friends and their special sauce to make it even better. Good prices, very satisfying.
