1. Spot Dessert Bar
Megan Taylor: I highly recommend the Green Tea Lava Cake.
2. Mimi Cheng's
Megan Taylor: To be honest, for the price/flavor comparison, I would stick with Dumpling Man or Vanessa's Dumplings.
3. The Nugget Spot
Megan Taylor: Neat junk food stop, but not something to go out of your way for.
4. Baohaus
Megan Taylor: OMG. Birdhaus bao made my socks roll up and down. The Chairman has a weird texture thing going on that is distracting from the flavor.
5. Empire Biscuit
Megan Taylor: I had The Jason and David and it was divine.
6. Hi•Fi
Megan Taylor: Really like this place. Mellow post-punk 80s music, ambiance could suit pretty much any situation, good selection of liquor, great specials.
7. La Lucha - Tacos & Boutique
Megan Taylor: Chorizo tacos for life! Seriously, this is amazing straight-up Mexican, plus they project Lucha movies on the wall!
8. Big Gay Ice Cream Shop
Megan Taylor: It's all about the Salty Pimp
9. Sing Sing Karaoke
Megan Taylor: I don't need much from a karaoke bar. Private rooms, decent song list, equipment worked. No liquor though.
